"The location is absolutely great and then it’s a true dive in hell - keeping dolphins in a pool pretending that it’s all about « education » - stop lying please we all know that it is a question of business because Asians especially love this kind of things when they come with children. You should be ashamed of yourself. Their fins, noses are damaged due to turning in circles . Dolphins swim more than 30 km a day. Release them and please for all the ones who read this do not pay to caution this. It’s insane"
"Best vacation of my life. Exceptional service, spacious and luxurious rooms, incredible view if you opt for a room with a view of the ocean. Loved spending each morning having breakfast at the Plumeria with a wide variety of options at the buffet, followed by a walk right out onto the lovely quiet beach."
"Our Favorite Hotel so far in our tour of the Hawaiian islands, great location between the beach and a golf course, very quiet at night, so we've slept well! My wife loved seeing the dolphins and we were able to catch a great sunset and sunrise from the beach!"
"Loved this hotel and resort. We had a mountain view lanai room. Spacious bathroom, nice bath tub, and very comfortable bed. The hotel is located off of the beaten path from Waikiki, which is exactly what we were looking for. They are beachfront. I believe valet costs the same as self parking. Dined at plumeria on Friday and Saturday, great service, wonderful selections for seafood and breakfast buffet. ALL staff was amazing. So kind and welcoming. Will be back."
"When I stayed here for three nights a few weeks ago I loved it and I still do. Definitely one of the best resorts I’ve been to, there is no doubt about it. For its rooms, you know it’s getting a 5 out of 5 people. I love the spacious rooms, the bathrooms, even if it does feel dated it doesn’t take away from my enjoyment. For service, it continues to score a 5 out of 5. All of the staff are awesome and do more than what they’re expected to make our stay phenomenal. They even have door-to-door room service where they serve food and bring it into your own room, which is a very nice touch. The activities they have are enough to keep us on the property for most of our stay, so it definitely deserves the 5/5. The location drags its score down a little bit though. It gets a 4.5 out of 5, because even though I like the isolated nature of the hotel and its proximity to the beach, it’s not within walking distance of anything else. Most of the surrounding area is a residential area but it’s definitely not too far from the main part of the tourism. Other than that, everything else is awesome. The activities, the heated pool, the built-in gym, the nearby beach, even the atmosphere as a whole, there really isn’t a limit to what I can praise about the Kahala. While it doesn’t get a combined score of 15 out of 15, it scores a 14.5 out of 15, which is good enough let’s be honest. Absolutely one of the best I’ve been so far, though I probably won’t be coming back again due to its pricey amenities."
