"Definitely a five star location with amazing views of the ocean, turtles and whales. The pool is a great temperature and perfect for swimming or soaking. Lots of chairs are available. The rooms are somewhat dated, depending on the unit, but it is extremely clean and functional. Our unit, A201, had the perfect balcony table to work room, and the Wi-Fi is good enough for zoom calls without issue (I received 60 mbps down). It is super easy to walk the 10 minutes to Poipu Beach and the surrounding area where you can find everything you need for your stay. It is also nice that this place is not super touristy and is very low-key. We walked through some of the bigger resorts and would definitely prefer Poipu Shores. Would come back in a heartbeat."

"Great place to stay for ocean view and listening to crashing of the waves, turtle, dolphin sighting etc. Definitely amazing views! Very therapeutic! Also a good and beautiful walk , using back ways, to poipu main beach area. We stayed in 204A. Laundry machine in the unit was broken, but the cleaning team were nice and offered to give us one complimentary wash. Our only cons was (1) Parking could be better - based on how the parking space is, its easy to get hit and at times, we struggled to get out to road in a reasonable time (2) sometimes, good breeze from ocean came in but honestly, we could have used some good fans or central air as it got sweaty at various times (3) additional costs paid on site - on top of the main room/hotel charge paid online to book for 2 night stay, there was destination fee ($30), cleaning fee ($329), these also taxed (~$60 just taxes)"

"Great location and depending on which room, almost over the water. Lots of turtles in this area. Can see dolphins and whales depending on time of year. Parking spots are pretty small. Pool."

"Great location and stunning views! Parking was horrible and the "heated" pool was not heated. Per the office, heater was down just this week but someone told us it's been down for months. Walling distance to Poipu Beach thanks to convenient access route."

"We rented a unit through Airbnb, so our experience may have been different than others. First, the parking situation is terrible. Narrow parking spaces. The lot has three levels and is on a hill. It'll be hard to park for people with big vehicles or no back-up camera. It's also dangerous to enter/exit the lot due to blind intersections. The office was closed when we arrived despite the Google hours saying it would be open. Maybe someone left early for the day, but it delayed us being able to get a parking pass and then we got a warning on our car for it. The property itself is nice. They have stairs and a fairly updated elevator to get you to your unit. There is a nice partially outdoors room to eat in. There is a nice pool that overlooks the ocean. Our unit was also much larger and cleaner than we expected based on photos. If everyone's unit was like the one we rented, we'd recommend this place, despite the parking."
