"It was amazing!! The service was great! Everyone there was so kind and fun! The pools were so fun! There’s a huge pool that’s really fun for the kids. It is pretty deep though. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway with kids this is the spot. Not the most authentic Hawaiian spot though."
"The location of this resort is very good. It has excellent food options around the resort, it is close to some shopping areas, and it has an amazing view of the ocean. The hotel has access to the beach and an amazing series of pools and great amount of seats around the pool area. Staff are very helpful and friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms are amazingly comfy too. I came here on a conference package so rooms were much cheaper. I don't think I would spend that much money at the regular price rooms but if you have the money to spend this would be an amazing place to spend a few days and enjoy a relaxing time in Hawaii."
"Beautiful property! It is massive, but the layout, design and views make it easy and enjoyable to navigate. We stayed in more affordable accommodations our first 3nights in Kauai while we did all the fun outdoor adventures, but came to Grand Hyatt to relax and enjoy their accommodations. The pool grounds are as nice and gorgeous as they seem in pictures. Food and staff were top quality as-well!"
"This resort is a wonderful home base for exploring the entirety of Kauai. The hotel itself feels a little dated with its winding hallways and lighting in the public areas. Spa is definitely the high point of the hotel. Our couples massage was lovely and I think I fell asleep twice. It was probably the most courteous and generous Grand Club I've ever been in. The standard suites are a little worn down so I wouldn't call them amazing luxury but they were properly romantic and spacious. The on site restaurants are a little resort stereotype (albeit with excellent service) but we found out that there's an excellent poke and Hawaiian food restaurant on the golf course next door. Property seems very kid friendly. It was great the hotel had a shuttle service for local restaurants and beaches. Overall a lovely experience with highly trained and courteous staff. The valet and bellhop are top notch and given how huge the resort is that is clearly a priority on the hotel's part. One time I needed a room key remade and they followed all sensible procedures to confirm my identity etc. You don't know how important that kind of hospitality training is..."
"We visited for 8 days on a couples getaway, and we were extremely pleased with the service first and foremost. All the staff was very helpful and accommodating! Upon arrival, we received fresh orchid lays, and a speedy check in process. The pools and hot tubs are open 24/7, and there are plenty of different swimming areas to choose from, along with a water slide! I also appreciated the water refill stations all around the hotel, and the reusable bottles provided. This was a huge plus for me. There are a few restaurants at the resort, I enjoyed the Library the most out of all dining options. This restaurant also stays open the latest, and they serve primarily sushi with great cocktails. I did eat at Tide pools a few times during my stay- but I wasn’t super wowed. The restaurant is in a wonderful location but don’t personally feel the food is elevated enough to match the overall aesthetics. I would say however the valet did take a bit of time to pull the cars around, but not significantly long enough to be an issue. Room service was also very thorough, and the actual products provided were good quality. The spa on site is definitely worth going to as well."
