Reviews of Wet 'n' Wild Hawaii
"Wet n wild has been a staple for our family since we moved to Oahu. The park is smaller compared to many on the mainland. But that’s sort of why we like it. It int tiring to hike around.. all the rides are close to each other. We always buy the season passes. With at least one of us getting the highest tier that comes with the free parking. Parking is mostly covered. We’ve never had issues finding parking. Food is not allowed in the park. We rarely stay more than a couple hours so this isn’t an issue. But the parking is so close to the entrance that many leave coolers in the car and go eat and come back in. We’ve always brought in Water bottles with no issue. Food inside the park is typical and spendy. There is a good amount of loungers near the wave pool. We usually set up there and head to the slides. Lazy River is only open Fri-Sun. That’s really the only bummer. And hours are shorter for the park because they use the park to host chiefs luau. Park usually closes at 430 I believe."
"Went here for the day after the kids wanted a break from the beach... Very disappointed. The main two rides were closed, the lazy river was closed, the mini golf was closed, and a few rides were rotating open/closed. They nickle and dime you here too, charging 20 bucks for parking, charging extra for the flow rider ride... It's ridiculous. They had all off season to prepare the rides but instead open the park without them working. I get off season things, but don't charge full price for a half functioning park. Oh ya, stepping on a rusty nail was the icing on the cake too."
"Attended the Chief's Luau, and we had a great time. The entertainment was fun, amazing, romantic, and memorable. The Chief made it special for everyone."
"I try really hard to give the benefit of doubt on all situations but this place made it seriously difficult. We came here to attend the Hawaii is for Lovers show. Never coming here previously I had no idea what to expect. Got an email the morning of the show saying what’s allowed and what’s not. To say that list was largely disregarded is an understatement, but when they say hydration packs and reusable water bottles are allowed, one can presume that water stations would be available. Sadly, this was not the case and small bottles of water were available for purchase for $5.50. I guess it’s good we pre-paid for parking ($20.00) otherwise they charge $30.00 to park at the venue. What gives with the huge price increase? Bathrooms on site are horrible. There’s not much more I can say about that. Oh except, My teenage kid told me the door of the stall she used didn’t lock and she had to hold the door closed while using the stall. For a nine hour music festival, the food selection and service were just terrible. Small ballpark hotdogs for over $7.00?! Ripoff! I guess the silver lining with all of this is the stage sound was okay. There were some random glitches though where the mics would start cutting out and sometimes get really loud. In all, this will not be my preferred venue for seeing concerts. I would be hard pressed to return."
