"I recently transfered my medical records to Dr. Imran Sheriff. To my observation, the whole staff seems to be very well in place. From check in all the way to checking out is a breeze. The assistant nurses are very nice and friendly. Dr. Sheriff is very attentive to my opinions and my thoughts. He is very thorough with my medical records. I trust his decisions. I don't see nor feel any kind of negativity on his expertise. I have decided to have Dr. Sheriff as my Primary care physician with great confidence."
"The worst doctor ever! The worst bedside manner I have ever experienced! Just blurts out lab results without an ounce of concern or compassion. “You’re diabetic oh wait no pre diabetic!” “And you have kidney disease btw” Which was concluded from an unreliable test, said my new doctor who is a specialist."
"Dr. Sheriff is a great doctor! I had almost given up on finding the right doctor then I met Dr. sheriff. He is kind and really does care about his patients. His staff has been just as kind to me & over the years I have come to care for all of them Good Job!!!"
"Dr. Sheriff was my Dad's Primary Care Physician until my Dad was diagnosed with terminal cancer and given very little time to live. From that point forward he saw only specialists, chemotherapy doctors, radiation doctors, etc. Near the end of his life, during a brief hospital stay, Dr. Sheriff took the time to come and see my Dad and check in with him, even though it had been over a year since my Dad had last seen him. He actually found my Dad in the hospital and set aside the time to check on him, because he had been his doctor before the cancer doctors took over. This meant so much to my Dad, especially because he'd only gone to Dr. Sheriff for a short time. When my Dad expressed to Dr. Sheriff that he was in a lot of pain and never seemed to have enough pain meds to keep it manageable until his next appointment. Dr. Sheriff immediately spoke to the cancer doctors and intervened, telling my Dad if there is any problem with that ever again to come directly to him, and my Dad did. His extra time, effort and concern shocked all of us and stood out in a field that has become so profit driven and impersonal. My Dad was touched and very grateful to Dr. Sheriff."
"If I could leave zero stars I would. I made my husband an appointment to see this "family doctor" and our flight was cancelled the day before his appointment due to mechanical issues. We were stuck overnight in Mexico and he missed his appointment. He called and gave the staff 24 hour notice that he wouldn't be able to make his appointment due to our flight being cancelled. Instead of showing compassion and concern for our safety, the staff said the he would no longer be able to be seen by Imran since he missed his appointment. I'm sure extenuating circumstances have never once happened to Imran since he has such a heartless policy. And icing on the cake, they threatened to charge my husband for his appointment. He requested a memo from American Airlines showing documentation that our flight was in fact cancelled. He faxed it to this "family doctor's" office and received a phone call that he would not be charged, but would not be seen by Imran. I had a few choice words initially, but AMEN. Thank heavens we won't have to be seen by such a heartless monster. You do not need this kind of doctor providing you his horrendous bedside manner. Avoid him like the plague at all costs! See anyone else in Reno. I would also like to point out that it's interesting he's even taking new clients... The majority of doctors in Reno have a wait list or are completely booked. That should tell you right there what kind of disaster this office truly is."
