"The person who took my blood samples was sick, with a runny nose and was coughing a lot. She did not wear a mask for the 5-10 minutes I sat in her room waiting for her to input my paperwork. She coughed constantly and wiped her nose with her hand. I’ve never seen a more unprofessional healthcare person. We will go back to using Renown or at a minimum, never use this branch of Quest again."
"The service here is horrible. The front desk girl was super rude and rushed me out the door like she needed to be somewhere. Never-ending I've had the appt forever and even offered to pay out of pocket and cost to get my blood work done so I can get life saving medicine. I hope being at the club on Friday is more important than my well being. I hope quest goes out of business."
"Very slow! Unfriendly! I got there at 7:30 just before 2 quest personal showed up to open the door, with one man in front of me. The kiosk kept going off and saying it was out of battery and wouldn't let the man check in so at 7:55 a lady finally came out and checked the two of us in. With 2 of us sitting in the office for 25 minutes, and 2 technicians, when I told her I was a walk in, she told me it would be a 1 1/2 hour wait at least! Walk ins are really not welcome there!! I left went to the vista office and got right in!!! Never going back to Mill street quest!!!!"
"If I could give a zero, I would. I had a 12 noon appt on 10/12/23. I checked in and sat down. I was called back within 5-10 mins. I had 2 separate draw orders which I handed to the gal when asked. She started to type the first one in not realizing there were 2. When she skimmed through the papers she then realized there were 2 orders from 2 different doctors (significantly different tests). She immediately exclaimed “You have 2 different orders but 2 different doctors?!?” I replied “yes”. She then said “Well, I have a lunch date and I can’t be late so I don’t know what to say. I didn’t realize this would be so involved. I thought it would be a fast one.” I told her that when I made the appointment online there was nothing on the selections for - 2 lab slips or lots of blood to draw…and that there was not even a comment section to be able to tell them in advance. She just ignored me not saying a word while she typed. The conversation when on for about 15 minutes with her barking orders at me on how to search for my doctors info online, all the while, telling me that without it she would not do the blood draw. I told her the order I just gave her has all the doctors correct information on it. However, she stated that if it wasn’t already in her system it didn’t matter. Wha!!! I thought. Then I told her that I had just been here the previous April 2023 and had blood drawn and they didn’t have an issue with this doctor. I could then see she was visibly frustrated and then demanded that I “google search my requesting doctors NPI, address and phone #”, because she could not find my doctor with the correct address or phone # in her Quest system. I ended up calling my doctor directly and the Quest technician would not let my doctor speak on the phone to answer her question to clear this up. The tech kept talking over the doctor while she tried to give her the information she was having trouble finding. Finally, the technician went to the only other technician working in room 3 (I was in room 2) and started complaining to her about me, my multiple orders and that she could not find my doctor in their records and nor did she want to as she stated again that she was “late for her lunch date”. At one point she said to me, rudely, that she had to call her lunch date and tell them she was not going to make it”. All, of this with open doors and/or to me and my doctor who could here her perfectly as I had her on speaker phone. Long story short, that tech was allowed to go to lunch after she deliberately pitched a fit within earshot and got her lab partner to take over my draw and then she walked out. There were also another 4 people in the waiting room (none when I arrived) when this all transpired and I’m sure they heard the entire exchange. The tech that took my blood, Christian, was fantastic, caring, amazing and apologetic for her co-worker. I told her it’s not her place to apologize for the other gal, I just appreciated her helping out. Bottom line, I was embarrassed, not just for the way she treated me but for the way she talked to my doctor and the other co-worker. It was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. She should be ashamed of herself. If she was upset about something that happened earlier and my situation may have been the icing on her cake, it doesn’t give her the right to talk to people like that. She should have let me wait a few more minutes for the other technician if it was so close to her lunch. It was obviously important to her, and to treat me so rudely was unacceptable when totally unprovoked. I plan never to return and have already made arrangements to have my appointments transferred to a different laboratory all together."
"They left people sitting in the waiting room when there was only 5 people there all walk ins and it was 10am when we checked in it scheduled us for 1:30pm. We had to fast so not eating till after 1:30 we left. The vista location is so much more professional, clean, and considerate. I don’t know how they can keep the mill street place open. They should close that dump down."
