"My recent stay at the Travelodge by Wyndham Las Vegas Center Strip was incredible in every way imaginable. The staff were all so compassionate, kind, knowledgeable, and hardworking. From the front desk staff to housekeepers and maintenance, all my needs were met and exceeded over my one-week stay. Firstly, I paid less than $300 before taxes for a one-week stay. I was not expecting much but was pleasantly surprised. Upon arriving, I was shocked by how central the hotel was. The hustle and bustle of the strip surrounds it. There, indeed, was never a dull moment. The lobby is a small office a few steps from the exterior corridors. When I arrived, the check-in process was easy, and the host behind the counter was very professional. I was assigned room 126. It was a Standard Non-Smoking King Room. Upon entering my room, I was blown away by how comfortable and quiet it was. The bed was huge and boasted newer linens and a comfortable mattress. The flat-screen television worked well, and the refrigerator was a convenient touch for my extended stay. The air conditioner in the room was on borrowed time, and it did an okay job keeping the room cool for the first few nights. Due to the room's location, it was inundated by direct sunlight, which made the temperature even more undesirable. I called maintenance and was given a fan. It was an adequate resolution. The bathroom was dated and had seen better days, but most fixtures were functional. Unfortunately, the tub had a persistent problem with drainage. I called maintenance back to the room, but there was not much he could do without undergoing a more long-term project. These two issues were pretty minor and did not majorly disrupt my stay. Unfortunately, on my fourth night, I returned from the pool to find a red liquid flooding the bathtub. It smelled like sewage. At that point, I reported to the lobby, where I was issued an upgraded room. The second room I was moved to boasted an expansive and comfortable patio directly looking onto the pool area. The fixtures were beautiful. It was much more updated than my first room. The amenities at the property were convenient and ideal. A large room at the far end of the first-floor exterior corridor boasts washing machines, dryers, vending machines, and a microwave, all for guest use. The pool area was lovely and a perfect way to unwind after a busy day on the strip. Daily, housekeeping tended to my room and provided fresh linens and amenities. The toiletries were of high quality, and the front desk provided more without hesitation. Parking is complimentary, but spaces can get limited, especially on the weekends. Regarding safety, there were a few incidents on the property during my stay. I did not feel unsafe during my visit, but I remained vigilant and exercised common sense. You are in the middle of the Las Vegas Strip, after all. Overall, I would recommend this hotel. It is a reasonably bare-bones experience but provides a peaceful sanctuary for guests with excellent customer service. I would not hesitate to book here again on my next trip to Las Vegas!"
"The location is amazing, right on the heart of the strip and there's free parking. That's all. Stayed for 4 nights and couldn't wait to move to the next hotel and get out of that one. Staff is friendly but the place is decadent. The room has nothing to do with the photos shown. Our room didn't have a TV remote and even after we asked for it, they said the TV had to be replaced and they never did it. So no TV for us. There's no outlet near the bed so good luck charging your phone. The whole room screamed "dirty" to me. I used the microwave downstairs once and nearly threw up when I opened it. I don't think it has ever been cleaned. The people you see around the parking lot and corridors are not the greatest you could find if you know what I mean. I couldn't even go to the pool under a 40°C heat because I didn't feel it was clean enough. I think I saw a sign at the reception saying the hotel is about to shut down. It's probably for the best."
"This place should really consider remodeling. The location is awesome, but the people that hang around the parking lot and around the hotel are sketchy. Honestly, I did not feel very safe. I would not recommend this hotel for families with small children. They definitely need to step it up with security. Also, the room we had was next door to housecleaning and the noise could be heard all morning. The dumpster was right behind our room as well, and we were able to hear people dumping their garbage. The hotel in itself is very outdated. Although it was clean enough, the outdatedness makes it look dirty and old."
"this hotel looks nothing like the pictures!!! very dirty!!!! My friends and I went to Vegas to have a nice time and because of this place we ended having a nightmare. We couldn’t even walk in the room barefoot because our feet would go dirty and disgusting. The bathroom was not cleaned at all. There was hair from the guests before us. Bed is very uncomfortable and the sheets are made of paper and AGAIN it’s DIRTY!!!!! The worse is, one of us forgot the wallet in one of the cabinets and the workers did not dive back to her. There was money in it and important documents. My tip is that if you’re staying in this hotel ask for an extra cleaning!!!!! other than that is in a good location."
"I have stayed at some ghetto places in my travels, but this place takes the cake. It is NOTHING like the photos in the advertisements/website. As soon as you walk through the door, you're hit with a dank, dirty smell. The rooms are filthy. There were stains on the sheets and a blood stain down the side of one of the beds. The mini fridge smelled like parts of a dead body were stored there. The shower and TV didn't work properly and all of the outlets were loose, so you had to literally hold your charger in place to charge any devices. You can still see the nicotine on the walls from when smoking was allowed there and everything in bathroom was rusted and disgusting. You would literally have to gut the entire place and start over for it to be anywhere near acceptable to charge to stay there. The only positive thing I can say is that the staff was lovely. I imagine their job must be difficult as I'm sure many, many guests have complaints."
