"Visited here on a Thursday night, this place gets pretty packed so definitely come earlier to find a parking spot as the front lot is very small, there is some additional parking at the rear. Food I thought was pretty good, steak was cooked perfectly and the calamari was tasty. The shrimp was only 3 pieces and very expensive for that little portion. Outside of that the service and rest of the dining experience was average at best. Our server Jayson was friendly and polite but pretty absent. Never came to check on how the food was after it came, the entrée came out before the appetizers. To top it off, after dessert was brought out not even 2 to 3 min in he brought the bill then came back again to see if we were ready to pay, definitely needs some coaching there."
"One of the best places we dined while in Oahu. A la carte menu with many options. Everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Definitely get the passion fruit creme Brule. The chocolate soufflé was okay and more like a chocolate lava cake. Service and atmosphere was great. This would be my number one recommendation for food in Honolulu. We were disappointed with almost every other restaurant we ate at even ones that were more expensive."
"This was our last day in Honolulu, our original plans were cancelled and we just happened to pass by and came in. It was truly a great decision. The food was really good. We ordered 2 NY Strips. All the items are a la carte put the portions are perfect for two. We ordered asparagus and baked potato. All good had a lovely dinner and it was a nice way to say goodbye to Honolulu."
"This place is a local favorite, owned by the same company that operates Liliha Bakery next door, and while it is more upscale, you’ll get the same family vibe as Liliha. When we went just after Christmas, there were several families having holiday, gatherings, and the space is conducive to those large groups. This was our first time, and when we entered, we were asked by the hostess whether we had reserved for happy hour or regular dinner. Apparently happy hour is so popular they dedicate a room and a section of the dining area. Not sure what they offer, will have to go back to find out! We came specifically to try the tomahawk steak, which was large enough to share between two people. I preferred the heartier flavor of the ribeye, however, and that dish was also large enough to share between two people. As seems to be the case at most steakhouses, sides are offered separately. Here, they are served family style so you can get by with ordering one dish among 2 to 3 people. Service was efficient, fast, and friendly !"
