"Lab staff are so kind and efficient. Mahalo for your care and respect"
"Excellent customer service is hard to find in this busy world. However, Kaiser employees at least those that I come across are trained correctly and I always give them excellent ratings."
"The hospital (owned by Kaiser) performed spine surgery on me today. No pharmacy has my painmeds"
"It seems there is always a problem at Kaiser. But this last situation was really ridiculous. I have an eye condition that causes eyelashes to grow INTO my eyes, basically poking me in the eye. It’s painful and irritating and even worse for me because I have developed allergic reactions to the irritation. This causes a lot of issues for me and needs to be addressed rather quickly. I never know when an eyelash will take me down, so trying to get an appointment asap in the eye department is essential. The problem is often the screening nurse doesn’t understand this situation and I end up having to “demand” an appointment which is stressful. The other day I was in the Kihei clinic for a different reason and that morning I had woken up with an eyelash causing distress. I tried to call the appointment line but no calls would go out. So I asked the nurses to see if they could make me a quick appointment but was told there wasn’t one available in Kihei. I asked if they could arrange an appointment for me in Wailuku, and they worked on it. I was told they made me a 1:50 pm appointment which was fine (even though I was right there at the Kihei clinic). I drove to Wailuku but I wasn’t able to check in. Apparently the Kihei nurses hadn’t completed making that appointment! In Wailuku, the front desk said to come back in two hours. Two hours? I don’t live in Wailuku and only drove in for THAT appointment at 1:50 pm. I was angry…. not really at the Kihei nurses since they were only trying to help me. But in Wailuku, it was shocking to me that they thought it was okay under the circumstances that were not in my control! This procedure takes approximately 5-7 minutes total and they couldn’t squeeze me in?????? Yeah I was angry at how easily they just told me to come back in two hours, as if my time was worth nothing. Very disappointed with Kaiser!"
"The lady employee named Shawn, helped me with my mammogram on 9/16/21, she was very helpful. I felt comfortable and supported by her. The way how she treated me made me feel relax, and not embarrassed. I am truly thankful that Mrs. Shawn helped me with my mammogram. I would recommended her to any patient who needs medical treatment. Thank you Shawn for being brave in times of Covid and continue helping people like me, who needs tests that require close contact. Cristina"
