"Made an appointment the night before and the wait was short. Doctor was professional and seemed much more knowledgeable than doctors in Vegas. Staff is great and more importantly they were able to help me with my issue and I am able to fly home. The only negative I can think of is there was no chair in the room or place to put my purse/sweatshirt . But with the cost of real estate in HI , I can understand the small rooms. A hook to hang a jacket/purse would easily solve that problem."

"Amazingly, my daughter seems to need to visit the urgent care almost every time we come to Maui! We've seen a couple of different doctors and they are always very patient, kind, and well versed in the various afflictions that seem to strike visitors. We prefer to make an appointment, although there is always a bit of wait, usually due to an emergency. Staff is super friendly and efficient. They stock most of the antibiotics you might need so no separate trip to the pharmacy required."

"Nobody wants to go to urgent care on vacation, but if you need it this location is exceptional. Dr. Azman and staff were amazing with my daughter. They took them time to examine her and comfort me. They were able to get her the medication she needed. They talked to me about my options (concerned with traveling the next day) and helped me develop the best plan for my daughter. "On my last vacation day visiting family at Ka’anapali Beach, I couldn’t resist one more swim, despite my mom’s warning about the waves. Mom was right. I mistimed a wave, and it pile-drove me into shallow water, shaking my whole body. After managing to get out, I sat on the sand, more embarrassed than anything (still riding the adrenaline shock), as a large crowd was watching the towering waves. Eventually I needed to face the situation and hobbled on one leg through the sand to an ice cream shop to get ice for the now-swelling ankle. I then hopped to the condo where my sympathetic mother sprang into action. While our family has visited Maui for many years, this was the first time needing medical care. Thank goodness for Urgent Care in West Maui. Even though it was late in the day, they quickly x-rayed, assessed the damage, and protected the ankle for the next day’s flight to the Mainland, where, once swelling was reduced, I had an ORIF surgery to realign the bone with a plate and screws. Thank you Urgent Care West Maui for being there for me on day one of a year-long journey of healing and rehabilitation--and an eventual return to skiing, and yes, playing in the ocean on calm days."
