"Shopping mall massage experience at a Four Seasons price. This was an unfortunate mistake. The rest of the resort is so nice- the pools, the condos, the food… it was my mistake not to carefully look at the details of this “spa.” This spa has zero amenities- no robes, no nice bathroom, no pools, no sauna… there are three Walmart type drink pitchers with ice water and two overtired outdoor furniture chairs as the waiting room. The whole place is tired and cheap- abandoned showers in the corner of our treatment room stocked with unused equipment. Cheap little diffusers and fans plugged in everywhere. My massage was ok, the masseuse was rude, never told me her name, and left my arms dangling off of the table for so long they started to fall asleep. My husband purchased the same massage (lomilomi), and his masseuse did not leave his arms dangling off the table at all. I also thought it was weird she asked me to turn towards her rather than away from her when she lifted the sheet for me to change from front to back. Overall, it was a terrible experience, and only $25 cheaper than an hour massage at the four seasons. I feel robbed and extremely dissappointed. I think it’s awful they’re getting away with charging these prices."

"We had a fabulous experience at Hoola Spa. The staff was friendly and professional. The facility was top notch and very inviting. We had a deep tissue massage with hot stones and a scalp massage. Both of our therapists were fantastic. Having had many massages at many spas over the last thirty years, the Hoola Spa is one of the very best. Anyone who wants a great spa experience while in Maui should definitely visit the Hoola Spa."
