"So I went into the store to buy lunch, last time ever. They wanted me to leave my $150 Swiss backpack on a pile of homeless looking backpacks that’s unsecured with the security walking around. Not to mention I had valuables in my bag. Even dressed in Gucci I was treated like a criminal for not wanting to leave my bag on a pile of homeless looking bags. I decided to shop at Times. It’s a drive but worth it!!"

"A good store surrounded by homeless people yelling at each other. Saw one man put two steaks under his shirt, the clerk chased after him. Sad and stressful, I feel for the staff who definitely do they best."

"I have been coming to this location for years and have overlooked the fact that the outside is surrounded by homeless and drug addicts. I have witnessed these groups sometimes come into the store with their backpacks to steal alcohol and other random things. I came in about month ago and the short female "security guard" with the very short hair followed me around until I confronted her because I was feeling uncomfortable since I could see her in every isle watching me as I shopped. Other employees there even told me that she had also told them to watch me. Again, I've been going there for years. She even walked with me down the Asian food isle and mentioned how she has two jobs which I really could care less about. I finally went to a cashier supervisor who I've always had very pleasant encounters with who finally told the security to leave me alone because they all know me there. I came back days later and saw this "security" hanging out with the people who are clearly on drugs outside of the Longs Drugs. She appeared to be working because she was in uniform and would still go inside and "make her rounds". I later saw one of those individuals that she was with come inside Safeway stuff merchandise in his backpack and leave. To avoid being here too long, I've also done the online ordering and won't do it again. I waited nearly 30 minutes inside after they called for my items to be brought to me, and nobody at all was helpful. I had to go to their back door to see if anyone was available to finally get my items. This location is super close to me, but I'd rather go to the Beratania location and not deal with this store. Absolutely disappointed with what this store and the outside is turning into."

"I generally like the selection of goods Safeway has to offer, but these past two days - most likely because of Thanksgiving - so many things were missing. I am sure, though they will be replenished soon."

"Came in last night to get my daughter balloons for her special day this morning. My mom already was having a problem with people giving her a bad” attitude” while trying to access the restroom workers were saying the restrooms were closed at 8pm when the store was still open. Legally they’re supposed to have restrooms open till closing time. I used to work at a GROCERY store. I mean it just doesn’t make sense everyone there looked miserable and like they hated their life’s. This morning I noticed the ballons I purchased were defective and had a hole in it. I didn’t even know or notice last night because the lady had put the balloons in a wrapped plastic clear bag so when I brought them out my car this morning for my daughter they were deflated and horrible! The lady that helped me was an older lady on 08/14/23 working in floral. You guys need better customer service and I 100% feel like this was intentional although I was being nice. She didn’t even ring me up probably because she didn’t want me to have her name. Waste of 40 dollars and no balloons for my little girl don’t know how this place has 4 stars."
