Reviews
"Worst pharmacists on the planet. I wish I read reviews before I went there. Avoid this place! Doctor prescribed antibiotics and they put too much water in the mix. I just went back and they simple wave arms like ohh well. I wonder how many bad reviews have to go in so this place get audited."
"Jasmine is a great asset to Walgreens. I will be back because of her!!"
"Called around 830 to check on my prescription status since it said it be ready at 830pm. No answer and was on the phone for 10mins. Then decided to drive down since it was close to my home. Go there at 8:45pm and there was one person head of me. The pharmacy closes at 9pm which after they helped the person it was about 9:03pm and before I could even drive up. They closed the window and put a sign, letting me know it was closed. It was upsetting because one, they couldn’t even pick up the phone and two just to close the window like that when they knew I was in line. My meds were time sensitive so I needed them that night. It would have been better if they could at least talk to me or tell me to transfer the meds to another location but they refused to acknowledge me when I was there. One lady seemed to wanted to use the speaker to talk to me but the other lady was using her hands and mouth to say “no” then I see the lady just put her hands up and walk away.. Just a sad experience. But I’m glad another Walgreens was able to help me out. So kudos to the Walgreens team on Lake Mead and Buffalo."
"I do not recommend this pharmacy for anybody who is struggling with mental health or recovery. As I am in recovery, I am going through the process of trying different medication’s for the different symptoms I have in different stages of tapering off medication. My doctor sent in a prescription last week and I was not informed until today (i’ve been trying to get my prescriptions for the last 48 hours, but first there was no pharmacist on duty and then they did not have my medication - unorganized and rude) that the doctor refuses to dispense it to me. This means that my recovery will be compromised. I was originally told by the pharmacy tech I had to wait until a certain date (I don’t use insurance, so it wasn’t a matter of me waiting for the approval from my insurance), but asked to speak to the pharmacist. Once I asked him whether or not, this was his opinion, or if it was a legal statue in Nevada. With an EXREME attitude, he admitted it’s his opinion. I feel like he was treating me as if I was abusing medication, and that was his first assumption, instead of listening to the note from the doctor, and what I said to him. He also yelled at me and asked why my doctor didn’t talk to him as if I’m supposed to know that it’s supposed to happen . When he started getting an attitude with me, I asked him not to be rude, and then he proceeded to argue with me instead of trying to find a solution for me. I told him can you please not be rude. I’m trying to figure out a solution (Actually that was the second time I asked him not to be rude), I ended up yelling at him because he was not being professional at all nor was he making an effort to try and help me solve this issue with the Pharmacy. He made it seem like it was a requirement that he talked to my doctor, but made no effort to do so, and did not tell me it was a requirement upfront. Therefore, his opinion is going to make me extremely ill as the pharmacist is completely aware of the symptoms. I will become extremely ill, If do not continue taking this medication that I’ve been taking every day for the last month. Abruptly stopping medication that I’ve been taking for the past month could lead to hospitalization or even death. Walgreens and the pharmacist on duty today at 12 PM on November 9 is responsible for this severe decline in my mental health and physical well-being. In my opinion, this is medical malpractice. I even had the pharmacist read me the instructions from my doctor and he did state clearly that it says I am switching medication’s (again he did this reluctantly, and very aggressively- dismissive, as if I am not a human who is trying to heal myself.) I do not appreciate the automatic assumption that I am abusing a medication I need to survive. This shows that he is not being impartial, and he is letting his opinion about society interfere with doing his job. I will be going to corporate maybe an attorney as well."
"I went there multiple times this month for my mother who was in and out of the hospital and kept getting new prescriptions. The pharmacist were all very helpful and surprisingly enough they called and checked in on my mom to see if the medication was helping her. We’re very thankful for the level of professionalism and care that they give at this Walgreens. Thank you from my mother and I!"
