"I went here for care because it was close to home and also on my insurance. I found the staff to be occasionally competent. Then they did not help me during a crisis in 2022 and I had to find a new provider. On top of that, Dr Kashyap is extremely condescending and judgmental when communicating with you, and it’s not a language barrier. Then they moved miles away to a business office in the District and there’s no parking, after that they started pushing cosmetic services quite hard. The whole place feels inauthentic and not geared toward the care of women’s health. I always preferred a female doctor but Dr Kashyap disappoints in all areas. They even screwed up my prescription and never communicated about the issue with me until it was too late to do anything about it. Then they sent me a letter firing me as soon as I expressed my discomfort with Dr Kashyap’s lack of professional and compassionate care."
"Prior to leaving this review, I had 5 years of unpleasant experiences with this office. I only returned out of convenience and even that is no longer the case. They moved offices and when I called to make the appointment, I do feel that it could've been helpful to mention that, but whatever. Went for a pregnancy test via urine screen. I already pretty much knew my results but needed them documented. Was told would be 3-5 minutes and results were instant. After 30 minutes of waiting, they finally let me pee in a cup, but then I had to wait another HOUR anxiously in the waiting room. They turned it into an office visit, which was never explained on the phone. (Probably to bill more) The office made me so anxious that my blood pressure shot up pretty high. They were pretty insensitive considering what I was there for. Everytime I'm there, I feel like I'm at a used car lot. Like I'm always trying to be sold something, given a prescription, etc. I always see pharmaceutical reps there at office, and it just is off putting to me. Won't be returning under any circumstances this time."
"The worst OBGYN office! If I could of given 0 stars I would of. This doctor is all about money. When I called to make an appointment I asked if they accepted my insurance and they said yes, so I went on to make an appointment. When I went to the appointment I asked the front desk again about my insurance and the lady upfront said I just confirmed with your insurance and your all good. Tell me why 3 weeks later I got a bill of $300 saying that my insurance didn't cover the service because out-of-network. I called my insurance to confirm about them calling and requesting coverage and my insurance said they never received a call from them confirming coverage. It's crazy how they will say they accept all plans just for them later to send you a bill and calling you to collect them. Of course I didn't pay anything because this wasn't my fault. Then I received a letter saying that I wasn't welcome back to the office because of unpaid bill. Like if I was going to go back lol This obgyn doctor is ridiculous. She's all about money and doesn't care about the patient health."
"You can be seen fairly quickly but ive had too many issues with this particular office. Somehow this is the only office that never receives the faxes from my pharmacy and it takes multiple days to get things sorted for medications. They never return phone calls and you always have to call multiple times. The doctor isn't in on Wednesdays and often has to cancel appointments because she is delivering babies (which I get but maybe have another doctor as backup). I had issues with the doctor giving me too high of a dosage on medications. The location was convenient for me because my primary was downstairs but at this point the cons outweigh thr e pros and ill be finding a new gyno. She left the speculum in me without holding it and wandered elsewhere to do something. She is not gentle by any means. Update: after 5 days I had to go into the office to get this sorted. No luck. Doctor sent me away with no medication because I hadn't had an appointment within the last year (so Over pandemic) Would not see me. When asked to sign a form that she was sending me away for this reason she changed the story to she needed to see me to make sure I knew what I was talking about. Then she said I could go to urgent care instead of my primary gynecologist. Even though as my primary she knows I get these chronically and its easy to set it off and I know when the symptoms arrive what it is, chronically enough that she gives me about 8 refills at a time but suddenly I am not allowed to have them. Doctor refused to write down her recommendation. Refused to write down that she was refusing to write anything down and then forced me to leave. Absolutely Do not recommend. Update: Also at the very end I was sent a letter saying I was no longer welcome at the facility and it had someone else's medical records attached, telling me I was not welcome because she didn't offer plastic surgery? No idea who that was for but clearly they don't have it together."
"I would never EVER recommend Dr. Deepali to anyone. I left a review of my first visit on ZocDoc, the website I used to book my appointment. My review was not a one star review and was honest. The appointment was scheduled for 11 am. I was seen at 12:30. Spent the Last 45 minutes naked in the paper "robe" waiting. I had filled my forms out ahead of time as suggested. Dr Deepali was not personable; she shrugged off several of my questions regarding my post baby body changes. I concluded the review saying she was fine for an annual exam, but based on my experience that day I wouldn't recommend her for a pregnancy. Instead of reaching out, and asking for followup on what questions I still needed answers to, or even apologizing (which, let's be honest, wouldn't really be necessary), I received a letter in the mail saying they were "discharging" me from their practice, which is laughable. I definitely would never recommend entrusting your pregnancy with a physician who - rather than communicate with the patient - chooses to expel them at the first criticism. I'm beginning to realize the physician/practice who delivered my daughter (and gave us her personal email and would respond/call at any time of day when there were questions), is a diamond in the rough."
