Dr. Douglas Tanita 650 South Green Valley Parkway, Henderson, NV 89052

"For starters, the office prescribed my wife conflicting nausea medications to take simultaneously during her pregnancy. Luckily the pharmacist told us the medications were not safe to take together at pick up. This office instructed my wife to fast about 10 hours for a glucose test during her pregnancy, but they failed to schedule the test on 2 occasions, and let her know at the end of her appointment. Essentially, the mistake was brought to her attention after about 12 hours of fasting, and the front desk clerk had the nerve to tell her to come back for the test after they went to lunch…. They failed to document my wife’s appointment properly after she was in a car accident during her pregnancy. My wife’s attorney complained that the office was incredibly difficult to work with, when they attempted to acquire her medical records in accordance to the car accident. And yes, as stated by other patients, you typically wait 60-75 minutes past your scheduled appointment time to see the Dr or physician, for a 5-10 minute interaction. I know because I went to almost every appointment with my wife during her pregnancy. Clear out a good 2 hours of your day for every appointment. One time the physician even came in and mistook us for another patient after the extended wait. I assume she read someone else’s chart? Basically, I wouldn’t recommend this office to anyone. I misplaced my trust in Dr Tanita, who basically stopped coming to the appointments himself. When we asked about his absence, the front desk clerk informed us, “he doesn’t want to be as hands on anymore.” If I could go back, I would definitely be more persistent in urging my wife to look elsewhere for her healthcare during this pregnancy. You would expect a small privately owned medical office to be a lot more personable and compassionate, but they fell way short in these areas. The office also lacked competence."

"Not happy with Dr Tanita. He was reaching in and grabbing placenta out in pieces then He left placenta in me, so after giving birth at 7am i had to get a DNC at midnight. Then a blood transfusion next day. Once home i tried to reach his office for a week concerned because i was passing huge blood clots and no one was answering their office phone. Im pregnant with my 2nd baby, id never go back to him. Im with a different office now, and its night and day. So much better! Way more professional. The ultrasound and everything else is done in office. I wish i went here with my 1st baby!"

"Very rude and stereotypes Black Women.Would not recommend! Never met Dr. Douglas Tanita but the doctor working under him, Dr. Felix Hernandez was condescending from day 1! He did not listen to me and made me feel like the pain I was feeling was imaginary. Told me that most Black people have hypertension and did not bother to check if there were other underlying complications causing it. Left the office in tears after spending 20 minutes for my appointment and him telling me that he’s spent enough time with me and had to go. I only gave the extra star for the front office staff who were pleasant compared to the rude Doctors in the back. Do not waste your time and energy going to this place if you care about your health. Skip this one Ladies, you will regret it!"

"Dr. Tanita and his staff are truly fantastic. He really listens to his patients and is very personable and easy to talk to, plus he’s super knowledgeable. The office has a nice calming ambience. Definitely go to Henderson Women’s Care!"

"Everyone in this office are really friendly they always make you feel welcome and comfortable. Doctor Tanita always listen your concerns and explains every procedure. In my case I had a surgery and he was there in every step. my husband and I are thankful!"
