"Close to airport. However, rental cars are not close by this hotel. Several miles. If getting a rental car you have to drive several miles back to the hotel Clean rooms. Comfortable beds."
"We wanted a quieter more peaceful place to stay away from the Las Vegas Strip. Unfortunately, a family rented two rooms, including one for just the kids immediately above our room. The evening was marked by loud thuds and thumping noises. I imagined the kids playing soccer or performing tumbling passes over the furniture. We called the front desk about the noise a couple of times. We were asked if we wanted to change rooms! Why should we be forced to move when neglectful parents of noisy children were at fault? After the front desk called the room to ask for quiet, at 10 pm, we experienced some peace. Then the noise picked up again and lasted throughout the night, including thuds at 4 am! I was tempted to call 911 to report unsupervised children running amok and fighting, or murder in progress. It was awful. We could not hear voices, just loud thuds. Not restful at all. Bad experience for us. I get how the parents of this small elephant herd wanted to go out and have fun without their unruly kids. How about having a Residence Inn policy where children’s rooms are only allowed on the ground floor in such wood framed 2-story buildings?"
"My stay at this Residence Inn wasn't great—it's easily one of the worst hotels I've stayed in. The main problem? The room was way too noisy. The fridge made a constant buzzing sound, and the air conditioning was really loud too. Plus, there seemed to be a plane taking off every ten minutes, even at night. It's definitely not a good choice if you're sensitive to noise."
"Interesting experience at this hotel. I've stayed at a lot hotels in and I worked in the industry for 12+ years. I checked in under the Marriott family and friend discount. To my surprise at check in there was some issues verifying my rate discount. Hotel had to authorize more and standard rack rate which was fine. There was some going back and forth with the front desk team and myself to get it adjusted but it was adjusted by the time I checked out. What I need to complain about is the service that was offered because of the error of my rate. I understand that if you can't verify certain information other things have to be adjusted. But making people feel like criminals is not called for. Sonia, who helped me at check in was very impatient with me when she realized my credentials for the discount couldn't be verified. It's one thing to say, sorry we can't offer the rate and another thing to be pushy as if I can't cover what needs to be covered. The second day of my stay Sonia just seemed like she had some prejudice towards me because of the issue from my check in. I get you have to do your job, but don't be rude about it. Because of my experience with Sonia, I got the correct information later that night and decided to just fix everything at checkout. Agent at checkout was much nicer and more professional. She was able to adjust everything with ease. Besides this issue, everything else at the hotel was great. Enjoyed the heated pool and jacuzzi. Room was lovely and roomy. I'll most likey not find myself staying at this property again."
"This is our third time at Residence Inn Las Vegas Convention Center. It's a great place to stay. Pet friendly, hot breakfast buffer, and staff members are kind and professional. The only thing I would say is in re: to their fitness center. They do not have one, but the description of the hotel lists it down. They should fix this. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this hotel. It's far enough from the strip so you're not bombarded and overly stimulated; at the same time, the strip is near enough that you won't have an issue exploring... especially with the monorail. The monorail is right across from the hotel and it has been a lifesaver! I would rate it a 4.8/5."
