"One of the best Marriott properties that I have ever stayed at. Much better than other Residence Inns. It is obvious that management and staff pay attention to the small details. Reception staff were very kind and helpful."
"I have been a Marriott rewards member since 1994 and whenever I come to Las Vegas, I try to be loyal to Marriott properties, but they are making it extremely difficult. I stopped staying at the Renaissance next to the convention center several years ago, when they tried to charge me $250 a night for SELF-parking. Hilton gets that business now. On this most-recent trip, I stayed at the Residence Inn at the Las Vegas Airport. What was not mentioned when booking through my required corporate booking tool, was that I was going to be charged an additional $15 per night for parking my vehicle. There is no gate or guard securing that parking area for that $15 fee, nor is there overwhelming demand for space. It was mostly empty during my stay, with obvious homeless encampments on the outskirts of the neighborhood and a reputation, if you read the one-star reviews, of having vehicles stolen out of the parking lot. They could just raise the room rates if they wanted, but they know doing that would cost them bookings. This is gouging of loyal customers pure & simple. Even with their resort fees, many strip hotels are less expensive than this location, but I booked here anyway and they thank me for that loyalty by telling me at check-in, that they're going to add $15 a night to my room? When Giovanni, who was checking me in, told me that, I responded by asking him if he knows how much that extra $15 a night is worth to his hotel? He said he didn't know and I said it's a worth a one-star review from me. He said he didn't want me to leave a one-star review because of that, so he waived the parking fee for me. Thank you Giovanni. The property is newer and well-equipped, but if they ever try to charge me for parking a vehicle, I will change my review and I suggest you do the same. The threat of a one-star review obviously worked enough to get them to reverse this policy for me and it could work for you too. If it doesn't, leave them a one-star review and let them know what their greed cost them."
"We stayed one night here before an early flight, the rooms are extremely large, the hotel was clean and smelled nice. It is an older building but the maintenance and housekeeping has done a fantastic job. I would actually consider staying here and taking an Uber to the Strip on my next visit. It is located RIGHT next to a mall. Excellent location and it felt safe as well."
"I chose this hotel for my Las Vegas stay because I didn’t want to be directly on the strip. It also had a full kitchen which is very important for my family. One of my kids is extremely picky and it’s difficult finding food for them to eat. I wanted everyone to feel like they were still at home while we were on vacation. Everything is provided for you from dish washing soap to pots. But I ended up not having to cook because the complimentary breakfast was good and everyone liked the food but I did stock up the fridge with groceries from the local supermarket. The property was clean and well-maintained. All the staff were incredibly nice and friendly. The hotel is also conveniently located and it’s about 15-20 mins from the strip, and directly next to Las Vegas South Premium Outlets so if you want to shop you can. There’s also plenty of parking and it felt safe. (Please note, if you book through Expedia expect to pay $10 a night for parking though Expedia advertises it’s free parking.) I would definitely recommend this hotel if you want to stay somewhere that’s off the strip."
"We have always enjoyed our many stays at the Residence Inn by Marriott Las Vegas Airport. The rooms are very comfortable and well designed with a kitchenette that has everything we need or want during our stays. It is always clean and well kept. What really makes this motel standout above the rest is the amazing hospitality! The entire staff is very friendly, kind and helpful. They treat you like family or personal friends. Especially Lucille Genato, who greets me by name and tells me they have been expecting us and always makes us feel very welcome every stay. Thank you all for the great service and kindness you show to us. I highly recommend the Residence Inn by Marriott Las Vegas Airport!"
