"If I could give this facility for MMA zero stars I would. I signed my kids up for MMA and paid $80 cash for the first payment. We arrived 5 minutes early and my children were not entered into the system. So we had to wait around to purchase mouth guards. After my kids got the guards, the lady helping us gave few instructions and we were sent off not knowing what to do. It was chaotic! My daughter stood around and no instructor came to help her. My 5 year old was told to jump rope and wait instructions even after I told the instructor he didn’t know how. It was unorganized and there wasn’t any attention being given to my children for it being their first time. I went and told the lady my concerns and requested a refund. She told me I had to speak with her mother (the owner). We left. This morning I went back to the facility and told Heather (the owner) I was there to get my refund. She was VERY RUDE! She told me to write my number down and she would call me when she could. I stated I paid cash. She said she is busy so I can write my number down or wait awhile. I decided to wait. She comes up with an extreme amount of frustration and tells me they don’t provide refunds. She proceeded to tell me I can come back with my children and arrive early for instruction in a blameful manner. I told her the class started at 5 pm and we arrived a few minutes earlier. I was never told to have my children there prior to the start time. Again, she displayed an attitude and was frustrated I asked for my money back. So I’m out on $80 for MMA classes that my children were in for 10 minutes! Overall, my biggest complaint is how I was treating this morning. The attitude and disrespect was totally unnecessary. Explaining the no refund policy without attitude or a condescending tone would’ve been received and respected on my end. Disappointing behavior for a business owner!"
"Incompetent financial team. Twice charged after canceling subscription. Spoke to them after the first charge, and was told it would be corrected. Never got refunded and am now getting charged again. Would not recommend. Trying to call now. Posted hours say it's open and nobody answering the phone. (Reply) This review is most definitely the correct business. I canceled the subscription a month before I got charged. I even confirmed the cancelation with what ever lady does your finances... the owners daughter if I remember correctly. She told me it was corrected and the money would be refunded in about a week or so. It's been a month, no refund, and just got charged again. Not sure email is the best route, cause I emailed the cancelation notice and that didn't go anywhere. I called and that fell flat. Now I can't seem to get through to anyone over the phone. I even tried calling the range next door, no answer. I had it open for my niece and nephew to go to the gym, so its two subscriptions that I'm still being charged for, they haven't lived with me since June. I failed to cancel for July and I will bite that one."
"I only tried out the MMA classes and I wasn't impressed. I felt like it was in daycare for moody teenagers and we really didn't learn anything. I was willing to put up with it because it was pretty cheap for MMA classes but the nail in the coffin was one time when we were practicing grappling, my partner and I bumped into this blonde kid grappling with one of the staff. It was a really minor bump and I looked at the guy and said "sorry bro. My bad. " He looked at me and literally jabbed me in the face and said "sorry bro my bad." The staff member a female whose name I don't remember, saw it and said nothing. It's like this place was made for kids to feel macho but that's just not for me. I want to go to a school that actually teaches pride and respect. The facility is really nice though. But all of their protein snacks are stale because I don't think they sell very many."
"Take your classes here! You won't regret it. Heather and Rick are awesome! My Fiance and I took our CCW class with them and it was such a great experience! They are both so knowledgeable and fun. They care about customers/students who care about themselves and others and are serious about firearm safety and the safety of others. We will be returning for the Knife defense classes!"
"My wife and I took out CCW certification class here and we were so impressed. Not only were Rick and his wife Heather professional and knowledgeable but we walked out of there feeling that we were treated like friends. Very passionate about what they teach and truly wanting to help people. Rick and Heather being both highly trained and confident in their teaching were also two of the most humble people we have ever met. We will definitely recommend them and also would like to go back for more classes. Thank you Rick and Heather!!!"
