"I had my first appointment with Ash yesterday. I am so very happy with my tattoo and the whole experience! Her shop is beautiful, private and a very relaxing environment. She is great to work with. I showed her my inspo and she created a beautiful design. I wanted to make a few changes to make it more me and she absolutely heard me and nailed it. Prior to the visit, Ash sends her clients recommendations on how to prepare, what to bring to make their visit more comfortable. Even those of us who have had several tattoos can forget snacks. Not to worry, she has small snacks and water if you need it. Is spa tattoo shops a thing, if it is… Ash has it! Parking is street meter parking, but the meter I had took cards too. Highly recommend this shop and Ash."

"Private tattoo studio with an amazing female artist @ashmakestattoos (instagram). Best experience I've had - modern looking clean studio reflects the elite service and instantly put me in a calm mood for getting tattooed. The private environment is perfect for anyone wanting to get a tattoo in an exposed area or someone like me that gets stressed from being overstimulated by noises/crowds. It changes the stigma of tattoo studios being dark grundgy shops to being a calm and modern space for transformation - which is what happens each time I get a new tattoo. She had a big TV and allowed me to select what to watch (we just binged The Office which was awesome). I requested a tiger for my arm as well as a redesign for another older tattoo that I had gotten from another artist that i was unhappy with. She did a phenomenal job on both projects and I am thrilled. The price per hour is normal for high end artists ($200+), and Ash has over 15 years experience. She specializes in traditional designs (bold will hold), but it's worth it to have a conversation with her about any design first, as she's super easy to communicate with and flexible - very polite and professional overall. She accepts multiple forms of payment. Parking is mainly coin meter spots so just bring a bag of quarters (roughly $5 for full day).
