"WHOMEVER JENN IS, PLEASE DELETE YOUR POST. Why give a 1 star when signs are all over saying you can’t shop there. Only military veterans and families with a DOD ID. You got caught, you should have read, you know better. Signs are all over Active or military and family with ID. I don’t even know how you got in except with military in the first place. The manager was right. He was doing his job and protecting and respecting those who served/serving. Please delete your post. It’s is common knowledges that civilians can’t shop at NAVY, AIR FORCR, MARINE and ARMY only facilities. Thank you Jen for sharing that civilians are not allowed there. Thank you NEX manager for what you did!!!!"

"Nicely stocked with items that are useful when staying in the cottages. People need to realize that shopping in any US Military Exchange or Commissary is reserved for active, retired, or reserve forces with a current DOD ID card. All other people entering these facilities need to be aware. No valid ID, no can purchase anything."

"I’m afraid to go back to this store. As a civilian we, luckily, are able to buy items for lunch and snacks. I realize this is a privilege and always follow the rules as to what is allowed to be purchased. Today I foraged for some snacks and lunch items. When I was approaching the counter to pay I greeted the person who was to ring me up and he aggressively grunted at me. I’d not seen this person before and per the rules i showed him my ID. He GRUFFLY told me that I wasn’t allowed to shop at the NEX. I stop and think. Have the rules changed? So I reply i think I can buy snacks and lunch stuff and I show him the snacks and lunch food i have to which I’m fairly sure he agrees. But then he yells at me. YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO SHOP HERE!! I’m thinking, didn’t we just agree that I can? So I’m thinking maybe he’s new? So I ask are you new here because …..he cuts me off and yells at me. NEW HERE???? I’M THE MANAGER!!!!!!! So now I’m really confused and maybe he wanted me to purchase things ? But I really don’t know. So quickly I put everything back and walked out still starving."

"Great place to shop for basics and gifts, especially when people seem to be trying to buy as much as possible. Unlike Costco...which I also love...NEX was not overcrowded, staff was efficient, helpful, and very friendly. No one was coughing or sneezing. Everyone looked healthy. Mahalo to PMRF NEX!!"
