"We went to look for shoes for my son whose white shoes got dirty from an atv excursion (we made him go). He didn't bring extra shoes and is extremely picky about cleanliness (he has a mild disability). We went to this place and told the man what he liked but he continued to recommend shoes other than what we asked for. If you don't have it then just say that. He was condescending and annoying. I walked out. My son walks out. A few minutes later my husband and other children come out. My husband says that the man says something about spending time helping us find the right shoe and not wasting his time or our time. Maybe it's just me, but I thought this was how sale's people potentially make a sale. My husband actually liked some of those shoes and would have come back to purchase a few pair as he's working here. Certainly not now. If you want people's business or people to recommend your business, learn how to communicate with a better attitude."

"After arriving into Maui, my wife realized she forgot her running shoes. She has a very hard foot to fit, so the outlook was bleak for finding a pair while on the island. Searching around for running stores, I happened across Maui Altra Run Center. Paul (owner) was fantastic! Incredibly knowledgeable and he fit my wife into a pair of Altras that she absolutely loves.
