"On the day I went, all bottoms were $2. When I visited again, there was no discounted items. I was disappointed but I still venture in the shop when I can to see what they have. The workers are always so kind and they work hard!!"
"I've been here a few times and each time I've had a pleasant experience. The staff has been incredibly friendly & helpful. Joking around with each other and the customers. There's a large selection of home goods which I appreciate. Every time I go there it's been very tidy & clean. I see some other reviews that people think items are overpriced there. I'm not sure... The only place I have to compare the pricing to would be Goodwill. And in terms of home items, kitchen stuff I thought Salavation Army was cheaper than Goodwill in that department."
"Today 8-10-23 I tried to shop here mid-afternoon, and the gate was closed and this sign was posted. I was just here two days ago on Tuesday august 8 and it was definitely open."
"As i was browsing I overheard the lady behind the counter berating a customer checking out. It was clear the customer attempting a purchase was the logical one in the scenario and this woman's ego was wreaking havoc. Selection of clothing and items are among the worst I've ever encountered thrifting. The items that are available were priced higher than expected. I will never visit this location again, not only do I not recommend it, but I strongly discourage anyone from doing business with such an unprofessional and hostile business."
"Very difficult to find. Hidden away. Need better signage from the road. Ten minutes until closing because it took me so long to find. Was going to go in anyway. Salesperson comes out and says they close in 5 min. I say 10 min, and I just want to look around. She rolls her eyes at me. Get my bag out of trunk. Same salesperson asks if I have donations, I say no. Rolls her eyes again. Go inside another salesperson says they are closing. I say I have 7 min. She says no, 5 min. Our tills close at a certain time and they don’t pay us after that. I say Wow you really want customers! I look around, find a dish, buy it. Salesperson says we love our customers we really respect them. As I get in my car the first sales person is shutting the gate. I still have two minutes to spare. I wonder if she would have locked me in???? I shop at Salvation Army in Canada all the time. I’ve never had such unfriendly service!!!!"
