"The only reason we came here was to watch the Apple Cup. We won't be back. Tried three items from the menu - chicken dippers, Monte Cristo, and the brisket dip. The "brisket" turned out to be the taste and consistency of Alpo dog food. The bread on the Monte Cristo was stale. The chicken bits were pretty much 80% grissle. To top it off, their drinks were all watered down. The waitress was more interested in chatting up regulars at the bar then serving the other patrons."

"Two of us decided to break from chain-restaurant tradition and try Holoholo. It was an unfortunate decision. We arrived in the morning when the restaurant was barren: 3 men on the bar side and 5 people standing vaguely in the entryway. We excitedly sat ourselves, were greeted by a delightful waitress, and placed our orders within a few moments: a sandwich, and the fried rice (fly lice) bowl. An hour passed and we were still waiting for our orders. But hey! It's a local restaurant and worth the experience. That's when our waitress apologetically explained the delay — the 5 people who were up front, were actually part of a 40 member group that had not completely arrived. AND the kitchen was waiting to make our food until after the 40 group's. WAITING. TO. MAKE. OUR. FOOD. until after the 40 group's, who still had not arrived. I admit that I'm picky; I spent years running a contemporary-American concept that I had worked my way up from since High School. But to make guests wait over an hour for 2 entrees, that had not been started while waiting for another group, is outright insane. It's piss-poor service at its absolute & tragic worst. Please avoid our mistake."
