"Five stars for Napua at Mauna Lani Beach Club! Initially, I was a tad hesitant due to the limited lunch menu, but any reservations quickly dissipated with the first bite. The quality of everything we ordered was absolutely superb, with each dish beautifully prepared and bursting with flavor. What truly sets Napua apart, though, is its unbeatable beachside setting. Dining with the sound of waves gently breaking in the background and a panoramic view of the ocean was an experience in itself. While parking can be a bit tricky, the effort to find a spot is a small price to pay for the incredible atmosphere and exceptional dining experience that awaits. Napua has masterfully combined high-quality cuisine with a breathtaking location, making it a must-visit destination for anyone looking to indulge in the best of Hawaii's natural beauty and culinary excellence."
"This is a fantastic place to spend some time. The restaurant has an appropriate outdoor beach vibe with live music in the evenings. The food and drinks are very good and the location (at the beach) is very nice. Of course the pricing is on the high end of the scale, but it's warranted. The only "downside" (which is actually a good thing for preventing over crowding) is that it's not easy to get to if you don't have access. It's part of the private Mauna Lani Beach Club, which is gated and such, but Napua does allow non beach club members to eat there. To get to Napua reliably, you'll need to hike about 15 minutes across the lava rock path and park at the small public lot, inland from the restaurant. Enjoy!"
"As a family we had lunch here numerous times during our stay in the area and beach club, but sitting down for dinner was another level. I would not miss this experience while visiting, absolutely fantastic all around. Quality of food and service is completely on point and above our expectations. The chef’s special dish on this night was very tasty and fresh. By the way, The calamari is tops! Well done!"
"It’s definitely not difficult to love this place. The view, the service, the food - just great! My family has enjoyed many meals here over the years and it’s always great. They are undergoing a big renovation right now that will make the space just that much better. Food is great and very quick…even with a group of 10, yet everyones food came out hot and ready."
"Can't say enough about the food and service - the staff were highly professional and made us feel welcome. It's the only resort restaurant owned by Native Hawai'ians, if you want to support the locals. The calamari steak (that's right, steak!) was incredible, and the chef's special was exquisitely prepared. Open-air seating on the patio. It's the perfect place for a special dinner."
