"As you can see, it is difficult for amateurs to clean BBQ equipment after use. I actually used a similar small device at my mountain hut, but now I use disposable BBQ sets at each mountain hut and in my backyard in Tokyo. In the US, an HC costs a few hundred dollars, so I think you can throw it away after a few years, but in Japan, it's in the 100,000 yen range or more, so I thought twice about buying it and ended up using it when I shared a night. It's not grilled meat, it's BBQ, so the heat is weak. The reason some Americans have trouble lighting a fire may be because they come from urban areas. My image of Americans is that if they live in a detached house, their father's ideal would be to have a BBQ every week..."
