"Our first visit to Japengo was wonderful. Our server and the supporting wait staff were excellent, attentive and not overbearing. Our food was beautifully presented, served hot (cool for the sushi) and every dish was flavorful and filling. The artistic combination of Asian flavors with standard fare (beef, pork chop, fried rice, sushi) made dinner incredibly satisfying. We did not order drinks from the bar and soft drinks were refilled when needed. The ambiance was...perfect. Open air, outdoor seating allowed for all 5 in our parry to have a view, although each was different. A bit cool with the breezes off the ocean so a sweater might be right for those who get chilled easily. We would highly recommend Japengo and will definitely return."

"In two weeks, my husband and I have tried many restaurants across the island and Japengo was our favorite. The food was sensational. The views were incredible. I got the filet of beef and the tomato and corn risotto. The filet had such delicious flavor and the crunchy onions were the perfect touch. We had an excellent experience and highly recommend the restaurant."
