"My sister and I walked in and wanted to get small matching tattoos and the staff was welcoming and kind. They fit us in within 20 minutes and we went to Erik and he was phenomenal! Not only was the studio clean and a whole vibe but once our tattoos were done we both came out with beautiful tattoos that have clean lines and bold black coloring. Go to black spade and even better Erik - he went above and beyond as he was accommodating, professional and a true artist."

"I wish I remembered the name of my artist, but I honestly don't. I know he introduced himself as "from Louisiana," but otherwise... He and the experience here were incredible, however, in that Black Spade Tattoo is a place like none other. It's situated behind the stage in the container park (it did take me a moment to figure it out, Maps was not super helpful and I am a hopeless tourist) inside a train car. I walked in with a pretty generalized idea of what I wanted: a sketch-style owl in flight, holding a crystal. This guy pulled up his tablet and, boom, sketch done in about 15 minutes. Just about perfect. He took direction and suggestion very well. The tattoo itself was another 30-40 minutes, and then we were done and I am one happy camper. Reasonable prices and great conversation. Beautiful art on the walls. Everyone is very pleasant."
