"Great service, unfortunately had to go back multiple times because parts were missing from a safety recall."
"Made a appointment for a recall over 6 months and still waiting."
"Last Wednesday my husband and I had the pleasure of working with Laura Soares-Ebinger. Laura kept us informed on what we needed to get my 2018 VW Beetle running like new. Laura is a true professional, treated us like old friends. Eric our mechanic did an awesome job too. We have a family mechanic but I’m taking my Bug back to Tony VW. Thank you again Laura!!!"
"I would rate their service department 0 stars if it would let me based on communication alone. My 2012 Toyota had a tire blow out on the interstate near their office. I originally bought the tires from a Toyota dealer with a Road hazzard warranty and they advised that the Tony Group could file a out of warranty claim since none are on the island of Oahu. So I had the tow truck driver tow it there. He left it there at 10am, and I had an apt scheduled for 1045. While there may have been 0 initiative from the driver to notify them it was dropped off, the did not call until 5pm to ask if that was my van and why I hadn’t made it there for the appointment time, and if that was my van they found in the corner of their lot. So day 1 was lost but I would put it squarely on the tow driver, but could have been rescued by the dealer. Wendi, the service advisor, asked that afternoon for my original invoice for the tires for the claim, and my initial thought was thank goodness this will be handled. I tried calling/emailing all Friday with no Update when I could expect my vehicle to be looked at. Same Saturday. They were closed Sunday. Monday I got a cryptic message from an automated system saying my car was estimated to be completed at 4pm that day. I called/emailed twice asking to confirm but the main service receptionist could never get an advisor, and no one could ever seem to get me an answer. I had to ask a friend to drive me there, only to find out my service advisor was not in (so where were my messages going? How does the place not know who is working and who is off?) I talked to Arthur, who is another service advisor, who couldn’t find any information on my van, and I discovered my van in the same state it was when it was delivered. Also that the automated message sent incorrectly due to swapping over systems. A company changing their systems I get is stressful, but when I call to clarify, and even the person on the phone can’t help, whats the point? As a professional dealer this is probably the poorest lack of clear communication and setting customer expectations I’ve ever experienced. I would have rather taken this vehicle to any gas station tire place and paid the money to solve the problem that day, than have to deal with what will be going on 5 days minimum of no resolution. Had they told me day 1 it would have taken 7 days, I’d have been satisfied. The lack of response or inability to get even the employees who answer the phone to provide one only further exacerbates the issue. I wish I would have towed it to Servco Windward Toyota who typically handles my service or vehicle purchases and paid the money. This “free” tire is no longer worth it. I was looking at buying a Honda Pilot in the future but based on what should have been a tire, I’d go well out of my way to avoid the Tony Group at this rate should I ever consider a vehicle they sell."
"My cc was serviced there not to long ago and I knew it wasn’t going to be a cheap fix. It took a little over a week for my car to be fixed but that’s only because they didn’t have the part I needed on hand which was okay with me. Their customer service was awesome they let me know when the part arrived and that they started the work and the very next day My car was ready. They originally gave me a quote and like I said I knew it wasn’t going to be a cheap visit but what they quoted and what it actually came out to be was almost $500 below which I was very happy about. To add to the cheaper bill I got a free car wash also. The line to the car wash was long but it was a good incentive and what can I say it was free :)"
