"Really good shave ice. The strawberry syrup is more like a nectar, giving a bold flavor. Other fruits are prepared as needed, again allowing for maximum flavor. Portions are very generous and easily shared by two people. Good enough that we went twice while on the island. This is not a snow cone!!! It’s shave ice! Tables could’ve used a wipe down, but they’re outside communal tables shared with a couple other nearby shops, so hard to say whose responsibility that is. And wasn’t bad enough to deter our return for a repeat visit."
"Packed with flavor and doesnt have a bold sugary syrup like flavor. It tastes SO GOOD! Never had shaved ice like this before. So glad we stopped here. Serving size was giant! 1 cup could serve 2-3 people. Lots of fun flavors to choose from and cool outdoor seating."
"I’ve had The Fresh Shave bookmarked for awhile and finally got to try it. Easy 5 star! It exceeded my expectations and I’ll definitely make a point to come here whenever I’m near Koloa town. The Shave ice itself is exactly how it’s supposed to be, like lite fluffy snow. The syrup was very good with clean flavor. Fruit topping was fresh cut just before placing it on. I’m so impressed with how clean the shop is and how carefully each order is made."
