"First time eating a Savage shrimp, it was really good. Would have been a five star but we asked how spicy some of the sauce were and were told it was none My poor wife doesn't do well with vice and it definitely has way more kick than they indicated. Other than that we really liked it"
"It’s tasty, feels like there are vaguely healthy options, and the price is about as reasonable for the area as it gets. Food is ready quickly and you can sit in their small outdoor area or go to a nice nearby park with an ocean view. The spicy shrimp with pineapple was nice. The slaw was just a pile of cabbage with a glop of some sauce but the sauce was good and you can mix it together yourself. The taco plates are very loaded, so it’s hard to eat the tacos as tacos, and we just used forks to eat the shrimp and tomatoes and such. The food wasn’t too greasy. The drink selection is somewhat limited, cans of soda and Hawaiian juices."
"Disappointing! This is a place where my traveling companion saw such great reviews on TikTok. Which is why I lend my reviews and my research from Google reviews. First night we went we arrived @ 7:50 & they were already closed even tho the sign says they close @ 8. I can sorta understand being in the restaurant business for over 30 years but also by that same token, we’re in it for the guest or you’re in the wrong business. So we came back another night. I had the garlic shrimp tacos, will say not bad. They were nice size fresh ingredients and nice shrimp but hardly any garlic flavor. My companion had the coconut shrimp and will have to say, sad & disappointing. It was that basic variety store bought frozen coconut shrimp found in every low end grocery store store & my companion concurred for she has been in restaurant industry longer than I have. They also charge you .50 cents on every transaction for carry out fee. Well sorry that should already be factored into your pricing & you’re not offered any eat-in choice option. So definitely not worth coming back to."
"We got the Bahia plate and were pretty disappointed. While the shrimp and greens were fresh, the flavor was kinda…bland. The sauce doesn’t even stay on the shrimp and was more like a small layer of soup. It definitely needs more bold seasoning. The container is also not very insulated so be careful; I almost dropped my meal because it was so hot at first."
"All things considered, this is one of the better spots near Poipu to grab food to go from- the portions were reasonable and the shrimp was tasty (thought Nat didn’t think her shrimp curry were spicy enough). You should also definitely go for the garlic fries."
