"Nice beach front. Opening long hours- convenient. But the food was uncooked. We were for quick meal. The servers began pouring coffee and juice without asking. We did not even have time to finish the drinks. Then the two drinks came at $9. Multiply by 4 plus tax tip. Not small charge. Don't think there was drink pricing on the menu. Shouldn't the servers ask if we want drinks? Well they don't care - they are on beach front. Diners will come any way."

"This has been a go-to spot since we've been staying here at the sheraton. The food options have all been tasty. I'd say if it was possible to have a better detirent for the birds that enter the dining area in the morning. That would be great. Overall I've enjoyed my experience here and will continue to patronage. Best Regards."

"Located in the Sheraton, beautiful views of the beach. Food is very mid and expensive, exactly what you expect from a hotel restaurant. The mahi mahi was delicious! However i would not recommend the chicken fingers they were not very good. Went a few times for pina colada’s (we got with no alcohol)."

"We experienced Lava's for three breakfasts since it was included with our stay as an elite bonvoy member. The variety offered for the free breakfast was very good and all very tasty. They also offered more at a significant discount. The service was actually not that good three first two days. I had to ask for more coffee both times. The waiters were just not that attentive. The second day was even worse. The third day we had Kamalei. She was amazing and friendly. She never let us run out of juice, water and most importantly coffee. She is an asset to the establishment and the other waiters should emulate her. We also ate lunch at Lava's or rather had their food as we lounged on the beach in front of the resort. You can raise flags next to the lounge chairs and they quickly come and get your order. The waiters around the pool and beach lounges were very good. Noe and I believe it was Amy were great. The food at lunch was superb. It is hard to beat great food on the beach in Hawaii."
