"I am a loyal customer to family hair and used to get my hair done by Kim ( she was amazing) but I’ve learned recently that she retired and new ownership of the shop has taken place so being the loyal person I am I still decided to book with the new owner ( yen ) I believe her name is. I needed high lights / root touch up so nothing too difficult being that my hair was already blonde , besides the roots that grew out , long story short she ruined the crown of my hair and I was left with brassy crown highlights not to mention the rest of my hair wasn’t bleached like I wanted ( thankfully for me it worked out ) I told her I was unhappy with my hair and not at all what I wanted but she insisted with a couple of washes it should turn to blonde and kept arguing with me so out of frustration I paid her (70$) for the charged service and cried all the way home , after calming down I called back to ask for a refund because I already got quoted from different salons it would be a 150+ fix ! At first she refused a refund at all and told me to come in so she can try to fix it for an additional 40$ ! We argued on the phone for about 5 mins before she got frustrated with me and offered to give me half a refund so at the end of this whole mess I ended up getting 30$ back and no sympathy whats so ever.! I recommend skipping this shop even if it’s for a haircut and taking your business somewhere else where they truly care about their customers, the old owners would be so ashamed and sad to see what their business has turned into ."

"Family owned hair salon was so nice and pleasant worked me in the schedule while I was visiting relatives in Vegas. Got a great cut and color at a great price. They took care of my 16 yr old son as well. Thanks family care we will be back next trip."
