"Took my 6 year old here to have his first haircut he is level 3 autistic non verbal and does not sit still very well. Up until now we have tried our best to cut his hair at home but yesterday he had his first official haircut at cookie cutters! Jenifer cut his hair and was absolutely amazing with him and very patient I would highly recommend this location for anyone with young children or kids who have certain needs that need to be met we will definitely be coming back! 10/10"
"This was by far the best experience I have ever had! I will absolutely take my son here for his future haircuts. Hands down the best experience for us."
"Stacey is always so kind and patient with my little (and me). Cuz honestly, I never know how to describe what I want for my son's cut, other than "short!" Luckily, they are able to add "notes" to child's profile for previous cuts (assuming if you're a rewards member) idk***"
"Carla did absolutely amazing. My son had never had his hair cut at 8 years old. He wasn’t nervous at all, because of how kind she was. His hair looks amazing."
"I brought my 2 year old son to Cookie Cutters today for a haircut. We booked an appointment online at 9am for a same day appointment at 3:30 pm. We showed up early and were taken 5-10 min after our appointment time; pretty normal for a hair salon. When they called for my son, the stylist yelled his name and said to choose a chair (which there was only one available). She didn’t say hi or talk to me or my son, she proceeded to start the haircut and kept pushing his head around. It was clear that she was having a bad day and appeared irritated and impatient while failing to make any attempt to kindly communicate to my son what she was doing or what she would like him to do. Besides her demeanor, his haircut ended up being lopsided. As a mother, witnessing an adult be unkind to a child was infuriating but I still wanted to keep my cool. I still tipped her $8 and called the salon back when I got home. The manager answered the phone, heard my reasons for being upset, was super short, stated that “I’m sorry you feel that way”, said that “sometimes people have bad days”, defended her stylist and when I said “it is not okay to be unkind to children” she hung up on me. Normally I would think this would be an isolated incident but when management displays this behavior I definitely will not be back and want to let other parents with young children to be aware."
