"First, you should know that I’m extremely picky about my hair. Marina was the 3rd stylist I met with after moving here from NJ a year ago, where I was with my stylist for 20 years. The thought of having someone else spiral perm my hair after being with the same stylist all that time was practically traumatic. I showed her pictures during a complimentary consultation. By the end of that 1/2 hour, I felt that she truly “got” me, really listening to what I wanted & asked great questions. She did such an excellent job! And, when there were a few tiny sections that needed a trim in order to be 100% perfect, which is always typical of a perm, she did what Layla Social calls an “adjustment”, which is a complimentary service. (Who does free these days??) She took her time, was very methodical & it made all the difference in the final look of the perm. I would have gladly paid for the service & the fact that it was free was just icing on the cake. Not only is she talented, she’s very personable too. The rest of the staff is lovely as well. I’m SO happy to have found Marina at Layla Social."

"This was my first time coming to Layla Social and getting my haircut by Lexus. I was very hesitant about getting my haircut by someone else because i have had terrible experiences in the past. my boyfriend always go to her and i always loved how his hair turned out so i wanted to give it a shot because i was in major need of a cut. this is the first time in 10 years i allowed someone to do my hair other than myself and Lexus DID NOT disappoint. she cut it at the perfect length that i wanted and she cut my hair how i visioned it. my experience here was amazing. they offered complimentary drinks and she made me feel very comfortable throughout my whole experience. when she was washing my hair it was amazing. she was giving me a head and neck massage and i felt like falling asleep because it felt so good and relaxing. lexus really did not disappoint. i will definitely come back!"
