"First off, I’d like to say that Syddin Pretty has an amazing atmosphere from the moment you walk in. The ambiance in the shop is so sleek and aesthetically pleasing, the music is smooth and calming (not to mention amazing music taste), and it’s very clean and organized. Sydney is greatly educated and sophisticated on the subject of hair and hair care, not to mention quite inspiring and uplifting. I have genuinely never met another hair stylist in my past of searching that is as educated in hair as she is, the philosophy she shares about hair is amazing to hear. I really feel like I can trust her with my hair and the future of what my hair can be. Today, I came in as a model for a new hire she’s bringing on board and she was amazing as well! Katrina did a deep condition, silk press, and trim on my hair and it looks sooooo good, I am really so impressed. My natural hair hasn’t felt or looked this good since I was in middle school... and I’m 20 now!! Katrina was gentle with my hair, and extremely thorough during the entire process. Usually, I’m used to jumping at the feeling of a straightener touching my scalp, but literally not one time did this happen, she did an amazing job. I previously went to Sydney for a sew-in last year and she did not disappoint, today after my silk press I am just as impressed. I left feeling so pretty and lightweight.
