"I haven’t touched my hair in almost 3 years. My hair has grown very long and while recovering from surgery, I needed to cut it to get it out of my face and from sitting on it. I decided to test my ability to sit for a few hours during my recovery, as I was scheduled to return to work in a couple days. I came across a Facebook post and saw Kylea offering her services as a hair stylist. It made me interested because the salon is right down the road from me, and I saw her specialty in balayage. She was flexible enough to do a consultation via text, and was able to fit me in the next day. We decided to do a cut and a balayage. I had given her a heads up that I am recovering from knee surgery and was in crutches. Kylea and the stylist next to her was more than attentive to me and making sure I was comfortable. They even offered a stool to help me prop my leg up on while I’m in the chair (honestly, it was a huge relief for my knee). Both Kylea and her colleague was very caring about my comfort and offered me snacks and water during my service, and checked on me periodically. Kylea was very sweet, easy going, and she took her time on me, which I was so grateful for. The end result came out beautifully. Kylea was able to trim all the dead ends and excess hair I had, and the balayage came out better than I anticipated. The workers at this salon are friendly and they help each other out. You feel nothing but good vibes. It’s nice to see a salon that has camaraderie. I am very appreciative of Kylea and the salon for the Aloha they shared while I was being serviced. It was one of the best experiences I have had in a salon. I will be returning. Mahalo nui loa Kylea and staff!"

"Dimitri is fabulous! I had another stylist have me pick my color from a swatch! Bad! Never taking in to consideration any other factors regarding my hair. It looked horrible and brassy! After an attitude from the stylist for her bad work but blaming me, I went home and attempted to take the color out. The next day I went looking for someone to do color correction. I found the Hair Lounge and the owner suggested Dimitri. Dimitri looked at my hair very meticulously and we talked about my options. I could tell this guy knew his stuff. He was passionate about his work and smart about the approach. He didnt have me pick a color swatch because he knew what to do to get my hair where I wanted it! We ended up doing an ombre due to the breakage and then a toner over it all. The last hair dressers idea of ombre was leaving roots. Dimitri blended the hair very carefully and it looked GORGEOUS! I was shocked we were able to make the mess look like anything. Ive been wearing it as such ever since then. The best part is his integrity. Hair corrections are always priced higher I really believe because your in a bind. Dimitri didn't overprice the service. He said it wasn't that hard and charges me the normal price for a coloring! That alone would make me go back. Good customer service is lost these days but he still has it. He's a nice guy with integrity and good at what he does. Highly recommend!"
