"Dropped in to get my snowboard waxed and ready for consecutive days on the slopes of Mammoth. It was a Tuesday morning around 0800 when I walked in. Jules was great at helping me out with the task. We agreed on the iron-on waxing and he told me it would take maybe 40 minutes and took my name and number down and he would text me when my board was ready. I went for coffee and changed clothes in the meantime and got the text in less time than quoted. Jules was cool and friendly. I would drop into this shop again."

The service was on point and they even came out for an equipment swap in the middle of our stay. The pick up was super easy. "We stayed at Juniper Springs and drove up late Friday, too late to get rentals for the kids. Scheduled an early morning appointment on Saturday and were on the slopes by first lift, making the most of our three day weekend of skiing. Return was beyond simple, they picked up from the hotel ski locker. Equipment was high quality. A little pricier than conventional rentals, but totally worth the convenience and ease."

"Can't recommend highly enough. Not only was the price on-par with renting from Mammoth itself, every point of contact with the company was commendable. After making the initial reservation, I had to adjust the equipment drop-off appointment - easily handled through a phone call. The actual drop-off reps arrived about 5 minutes early and they were efficient, knowledgeable, and friendly. They explained the process clearly and reiterated how to contact them should we need them. My partner wanted to exchange his boots on our final day, and despite cell signal being pretty rotten, Black Tie made multiple efforts to call/text us back and ensure we were happy with the equipment. The equipment pick-up was painless and on-time. Couldn't recommend this service enough, and will definitely use them again!"
