"Please read before using Alsco. I originally signed up for their service approximately 5 years ago. They had a decent price and the salesman Brian expressed that they had a contract but it was not something they held their customers to if they were not satisfied and wanted to end the contract. Fast forward to now the price has doubled for the same product and they strong armed my general manager to sign another contract because they were having a hard time tracking me down to sign it. I asked to be out of the contract and they just sent me in invoice for $14,000 if I end the contract. This is the way they conduct themselves and be very careful doing business with them. Updated: As you can see below. A blanket response that is sent out after every bad review. Customer service will do nothing to resolve this issue. What a joke."
"Over the top! Excellent service, friendly atmosphere, the whole experience the world over. Highly recommended"
"I have used alsco since I started my business about 10 years ago mostly because the previous owner of my business used them and i didn't know there were any other options. Pretty much the only thing they have ever done is brought towels and door mats. Prices started going way up, so we started looking for other options and found that cintas would do MUCH MUCH more for significantly less money, so we called alsco and told them their services were no longer required. They informed us that we were in a five year contract with them. I, as the business owner had never signed a contract. Nobody remembered ever signing a contract. It turns out that when our delivery guy was leaving one day he told the office manager that he needed a signature for the delivery. She signed it much like she would for a delivery from UPS or FEDEX. Turns out, this was the contract. When this was brought to my attention, I tried to call the manager, Mark and explain the situation, thinking that this would not be a problem at all. Not only was he not understanding, apparently this is standard business practice with alsco. He said that since I have been paying my bill, I was accepting the terms of the contract. I told him I didn't know I was under contract and was paying the bill like any other bill I receive at the office. I asked him if he would have liked it if I had not paid my bill at all. He replied sheepishly, "well, no." According to Mark, he, as the manager, has no authority to do anything about this, so I get to call Sean tomorrow. Hopefully that call goes a bit better, but one thing I would tell you is to avoid doing business with alsco at all costs!!!"
"Do you want your definition of incompetence redefined? If so use this service. Took 6 months of having shirts ordered to finally give up and cancel them. They lose your items all the time. They're poor quality, the patches don't stay on and the previous manager was trash. They go through staff like crazy because it's a trash service"
"Been using them for almost 5 years after a change of management my prices keep going up and unless you watch the bill closely every delivery you get charged for items you never received including delivery. I was happy up until 6 months ago. NEVER sign a contract with them ever! I would now not recommend them to anyone. Prices go up 8% every year and you have to buy out a full contract of 60 months to get out of it!"
