"The staff were super nice. They put some shoes my husband was looking for on hold. They had jo issues with checking online to find alternative sizes for the kids even getting us coupons. Very helpful but not overbearing."

"I went in fully expecting to purchase a new pair of Birkenstocks because the shoes I was wearing got dirty. When we walked into the store we were bombarded by many teenagers who were overwhelmingly trying to make a sale. They were extremely aggressive and pushy about anything I looked at. As I said, I was 100% going in expecting to purchase a pair of shoes but left empty handed because I couldn’t handle the bombardment anymore. Their strategy did not work and probably costs them many customers."

"Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Asked to see one pair of shoes and was upsold another pair of shoes, socks, shoe cleaner, and a purse! Staff have selling game here!"

"Awful management. I wanted to return shoes after 4 days of buying them as the had already broken. The manager said I could only swap then for the exact same shoe, but they didn’t have my size. So she INSISTED that I take the shoe in a different colour (not the ones I wanted, bought or even liked!) she said she’ll call customer service and she did and came back to say she was told it was her decision and she wasn’t budging on the fact I had to accept the pair or shoes that were completely different because it was the same ‘style’ (the shoes I had were light and she wanted me to take black and orange ones). She was more interested in the interview she was having on a bench outside than helping a customer. Went to the other journeys and was welcomed much better and was greeted with a lot more professionalism. I asked her to print off my receipt as my email receipt was never sent to me. She managed to pull up the receipt but never printed as there was no new transaction. She clearly had no idea what was going on and was well out of her depth."
