They charged me over $1,000 for a part that was just a few hundred, told me they would start repairs first thing in the morning (I left it there overnight) and didn't start repairs until 1:30pm, meaning I lost another day without my car. I would have preferred some communication as to why I was charged so much. Something that should have been only a few hundred to repair cost me over $2,000."

Despite already having worked a long day, Dylan took his time to gather all the pertinent information his technician would need in order to trouble-shoot the problem the next morning. My Pep Boys experience could not have been more positive and they called me in a very timely manner the following morning to inform me of what they had discovered—a faulty clutch safety switch."
