"I highly recommend this place! We were a little early for our reservation, but were seated promptly. The service was amazing! The owner and her daughter answered all our questions and made excellent recommendations. The atmosphere was whimsical and charmingly decorated. A MUST DO while in Vegas!"
"I have been bringing friends and family here for about 2 years now and I'm pleased to see the place evolving! They have added a new Russian tea and it was a delightfully new experience! I can not wait to take my friend from England here!"
"My daughter and I had such a lovely time. The decor is so pretty, it’s really fun that they had hats available for us to wear. They have a great selection of teas to choose from and a nice variety of food. We both ordered the High Tea and I also ordered an extra desert plate. Everything was so yummy. I really appreciated that once we were served we were left to enjoy our tea, it was nice not to feel rushed like I have at other places. I can’t wait to go again with some friends ."
"For as charming and cute as the Tea Terrace is, I was highly disappointed in the food. We ordered the queens tea (to share) and the princess tea for my 5 year old granddaughter. On both, the sandwiches were fine. The scones on both teas were like rocks. So overdone, Dark brown in color . You can see in photo. The princess tea dessert tray included. 3 store bought cookies. A few grapes. Unripened strawberry and slice of orange. It also included a little dish of mini marshmallows and bite size store bought cookies. The queens tea dessert tray included a bowl of fruit; grapes a few days old, soft and slightly shriveled. With a tiny bit of a strawberry and a slice of dragonfruit, which looked nice. A dish of pudding, which tasted like a snack pack, Carrot cake, which wasn’t bad. A butter cookie, the tinned kind you can get at Costco or the dollar store. So pretty disappointing overall. I’m not trying to be mean here. But if you’re going to offer afternoon tea. Either bake things fresh or use a reputable bakery. Store bought cookies do not equal afternoon tea. I’ve had afternoon tea in London that cost over $100 per person and I would do it again because the experience was fantastic and the food incredible. I spent $80 on these two teas (3 people) and even though the atmosphere was lovely, I would not do it again. It just wasn’t worth it. Increase the cost and add some real baked goods and desserts. I hope that in the future the quality goes up, I’d be back if it did."
"The atmosphere of this place was stunning. It was beautifully decorated. They accommodated my dietary restrictions smoothly. We got the Queens Tea. I got the almond tea and my friend got the pomegranate. The tea wasn't great quality despite it being loose leaf tea. It came from Adagio which is always a guessing game of it will have flavor. The first cup of two tastes great but by the end the flavor wasn't great. I removed the tea bag almost immediately because I wanted to avoid it being bitter. Might I suggest using Metolius Tea, SerendipiTea or even Harney and Sons or Republic of tea if you want to use loose leaf? I know Adagio is affordable. Perhaps I'm just snobby about my tea. Those teas listed are at least a bit of a higher tier of tea quality. Also, it confused me that the tea was loose leaf and then put in the pot. Could we not just have it put in the pot and given strainers for the tea cup? Some of the tea fell out of the bags and settled in the tea pot and ended up in my cup after being poured. It was nice they gave a timer to let you know how long to steep the tea. On to the food. We didn't get clotted cream with our singular scone or nearly enough jam. The butter tasted like it had been left out and uncovered in the fridge. It has a gross flavor to it. The bread seemed like it was dry as well, almost stale. But the sandwiches were soft. Like, are you freezing the bread or what on earth would make it dry out like that? The chickpeas sandwich didn't have a great flavor but I appreciate them having vegan options. The corn tart was good as was the cucumber sandwich. The hummus bowl tasted like Sabra hummus scooped out of a container and served with a few small slices of bell pepper. The dessert on the top tier were hit and miss. The cake was a good flavor yet dry. The custard was my favorite. The cream puff tasted like it came from one of the bulk containers from Costco or Sam's club. The butter cookie also tasted like it came from a container from a bulk store as did the macarons they added. They were sweet and brought me a individual serving of creme brulee (which also has a date stamped on the side like it came from Costco) with a candle and they didn't sing. Thank you for not singing, it is embarrassing for everyone involved. It's a good price point but I wouldn't go back. Definitely have room for improvement. I feel so bad because it seems like it's a mom and a daughter and running this small business. I love supporting small businesses but this left much to be desired."
