Gloria's Cafe

"Restaurant was easy to find, there is a big sign out front. Small place with a patio. We waited for a few minutes and then were seated. Very friendly staff. Clean restaurant. Our server was very nice. She didn't check on us or refill my water, when asking advise on two menu items she stated that she doesn't like either. So, I was on my own lol. I chose the Huevos Rancheros. It was the best I have ever had. I loved the Ranchero sauce. The eggs were cooked perfect. The hasbrowns had a perfect crisp, the tostada was a beautiful texture element. Chef's kiss! The child's meal was a perfect size for our 9 year old and was devoured. My husband had the Gloria's special chorizo plate. He loved it. The portions were large and priced appropriately. Can't wait to come back and try some lunch. Everything looked so good!"

"We always love trying something new when we visit Reno, and heard about this gem! The young ladies that served us were gracious and attentive. Always with a smile! The food was delicious! Amazing homemade corn tortillas! The food was full of great flavors! Portions were abundant! Can't go wrong with Gloria's Cafe!"

"WOW!!!! Staff greeted us right after walking in,sat us down immediately,brought drinks right away and took our order in a timely manner. Waiter was very polite,professional and smiled the whole time. I ordered chicken strip and fries which the fries are literally "off the hook". ( The best fries in town). My friend ordered the breakfast burrito and it was huge. Will definitely return to Gloria's Cafe."

"Great Mexican food. Good mocha. Poor American food that is bland and overcooked. Friends loved it. But the 20 dollar steak and eggs was bad, like Denny's has better. Also, they asked what kind of toast we wanted but we never got it. Pricey but that's fine if the food was good."

"On the way out of Reno, we decided to stop at Gloria's Cafe. Kind of out of the way but worth a try. First off, I have to mention that I am sensitive to salt and anything with an over abundance of salt is off putting to me. Having said that, the country gravy on the skillet was very salty to me and made the entire plate seem off. However, that is my personal opinion. The wife ordered French toast and that was fine to her. So we were split on the food. The service was sort of stand-offish. Not friendly nor mean just there. Since we were a one off and not regulars, it was okay with us."
