"My friend and I came up to see the largest Loon in Virginia, Minnesota. Yes the loon is huge!! We found out about the Loon from KARE11 (news channel) in the Twin Cities. Did you know the Loon has a right eye that's been taken out? I called and left a message with the woman that answered. I hope the Loon's eye was fixed or will be fixed. I love Virginia, Minnesota."
"What a beautiful and peaceful place to be. With beach, play area, picnic tables and restrooms. Ultimate leisure place to to enjoy with kids and family. Great place for fishing and enjoy. Love this place and the giant loon statue. What a fun to be here."
"Had a nice picnic shelter, beach and play area. Really need to upgrade the bathroom facilities! The amount of people that were here on a hot day using the beach, etc. There is only a pit toilet ( 2 stalls each- women's and mens) with only a wall for privacy. In order to see if available, you have to peek around the wall (no door)."
"Good for fishing ,boating and walk. Very clean and few people and very nice walking area"
"Clear water, a dock to jump off of and LOTS of sand to play in. There's a small shelter with picnic tables. They have bathrooms and a playground for kids, as well as a nice walking/running path and a dock to fish off of. This is our FAVORITE place to swim! Oh, and they also have another place to dock your pontoon or boat if you need it."
