That's a long time to be without a dryer in the dead of winter! I called Direct Home Appliance Service and they sent a technician out that same day to take a look. Cassie was able to quickly diagnose the problem and order the part we needed. She was super courteous, fast, and thorough. The part arrived within a week and she immediately came over to install it-- problem solved! The whole experience was extremely pleasant and the repair was very reasonably priced. Some companies (looking at you, Sears) were going to charge me $150 just to diagnose the problem, but Direct Home Appliance Services doesn't employ any of those shenanigans. I will definitely be calling them again if any of my other appliances decide to bite the dust."
