"Chatted with a woman on the phone and had a good experience learning about the rates which are affordable, and also that they specifically charge a 3% fee for the check that i have to cash. Quality experience overall and i will be using their services in the near future."
"If zero stars was an option. Wouldn’t cash a check from a reputable company for workman’s comp even with all the papers and proper identification. JOKE"
"Told me they first couldn't cash my check because I signed it, then brought another one in said they couldn't cash it because it was out of state. Ok so it's not the check it's discrimination. Then her eyes get buck. So now I've kindly called my aunt got a lawyer and we will see"
"I don't like posting negatively about a business, but if and when I do, something went terribly wrong. The non-management staff can be polite, but the problem is, they can't do almost anything without a manager's approval. My main purpose of the visit was to get a loan, which took a very lengthy process of checking my paystubs, employment history, bank statements from the last 3 months, etc. This is something not typically found in other places, like Ace Cash Express, which only needs one pay stub to continue. Plus, Ace Cash Express also can spot you up to $500. Cheques y Envios will only spot you up to $350 for such a lengthy process, on your FIRST loan. Subsequent loans can get you more maximum each time you take a loan. When I got my first loan with Cheques y Envios, they explained that the money will be taken out from my paycheck, which is direct deposited in my bank account. On payday, they attempted to withdraw $445, which included the interest fees, and it wasn't successful. I explained to them that my bank had not fully deposited my money, so I would instead pay it the next day. They try again the next morning, and said it didn't work, and I told them I would just pay it cash instead. I pay it off in cash, and even tipped them for the slight inconvenience. When I tried applying for another loan with them two weeks later, I was told "No" by the manager. Despite having my bank information and paying it off the loan in a timely fashion with direct communication, I get denied for another loan. Honestly, having to try to catch the manager on only certain times of the day was a major inconvenience for me. They are polite, don't get me wrong, but what's the point of having options in your business when you can't have most of your employees process them?"
