"Stay away from this place. On my first visit, the doctor would not listen to me, said my pain was in a place where it wasn't, and ordered a procedure to be done on that area. I had that injection on Dec 15th and for the next 5 weeks I couldn't sit down, could barely stand, and could only get relief from laying on my stomach with my feet and head hanging off the bed. It also made my leg numb, which it still is. When I had my two week post op, they said numbness was normal for a couple of weeks but it's now been over two months. I got a second injection on Feb 2nd in the area it should have been from the beginning and have been calling everyday since Mon Feb 5 to schedule my two week post op and it takes up to 30 minutes for someone to answer. They have switched between hanging up on me or transferring me to a voicemail but they never return the call. I am terrified that my leg is still numb and that they won't get me scheduled for the post op."
"I’m only giving them 3 INSTEAD Of 0 stars because my Dr. Shannon is probably the absolute best physician I’ve ever had in Pain management. She actually cares and totally understands what it’s like to be a legit pain patient. She actually treats me like I’m human and knows that taking pain meds is NOT a choice . Unlike others I’ve seen in that office that treat patients like addicts even though we have every legitimate need for pain mgmnt! The reception girls and assistants are very nice here but the back office staff needed for surgery scheduling /insurance etc is HORRENDOUS! It’s obvious there’s a combo of excessive laziness or straight out incompetence when it comes to getting surgeries approved, scheduled etc! It’s beyond frustrating to be in so much pain waiting for these people to simply follow up on authorization ! If it wasn’t for Shannon I would have quit this office by now but I’m staying because of Shannon and only Shannon. It’s been almost 3 months to get my next procedure scheduled!!!!! there’s NO change in insurance no changes in anything except more pain and it’s absolutely RIDICULOUS!!!!"
"Shannon Signorino P. A. Is just amazing! She really sits down and takes the time to explain things to you. She is very knowledgeable and kind... On a side note she likes vintage clothing like me and my wife!"
"The staff clearly has to handle a lot of patients every hour. They do so kindly and efficiently. There are obviously a bunch of rules and polucies. I think that's due to the opiod disaster. No one wants a rwpeat. My PA is Shannon. She is outstanding. She is concerned for my well-being. She gives me a lot of info. She treats me like a real person and listens to me. She inspires me to try to stay fit despite the pain without being jusgy or purting pressure on me."
"Awful Treated me like a pill seeking addict very unprofessional I was referred for pain management it’s self explanatory all they want is to put you to sleep and put shots in your spine in a shot mill environment on Charleston if you refuse the shot or ask to get to know the doctor is capable your shunned it’s very weird not everyone wants to be experimented on doctor is scared to death to prescribe any medication I was on tramadol for 15 years and it stopped working for me and he told me that I could just stay on tramadol after my scans came back that I had severe arthritis in my back and my neck. this can cause a medical malpractice lawsuit for not treating with proper care which is legally their job. It’s also neglecting the patient I would not recommend this place at all."
