"I was initially seen on November 28th, 2023, by PA Cody Thorson. During this office visit we agreed to schedule a Laparoscopy. During this appointment I was told someone would call me on the following Tuesday to schedule the appointment. However, I never received a call. I called back in December to schedule the appointment and was told they were so behind that is the reason I never received a call. On that call with Justine for scheduling, I was never told there would be a $150.00 charge if I cancelled within a week. I was initially scheduled with Dr. Reesa Goravanchi however, I was told two weeks prior to the procedure that Dr. Goravanchi went out on Maternity Leave. I then was told I could be switched over to Dr. Hernandez. On Monday, January 15th, I was seen by Dr. Hernandez who was extremely against the manner in which the surgery was going to be done. Dr. Hernandez pushed the fact that he wanted to remove my tubes completely and not just "Tie" them. I disagreed and explained that I wanted the procedure PA Cody Thorson had advised which would be just clamping the tubes or cauterizing the tubes. Dr. Hernandez told me to go home and think on everything and give them a call back to advise if the surgery was for me. I called back today January 22nd and was told that there would be a $150 cancellation fee. I was never told about this fee at ALL. This whole ordeal was atrocious! Justine has NO integrity to outright LIE about telling me about this fee. I have my surgery consent form and that fee is NOT listed. This is truly heartbreaking for me because it's extremely hard to find quality care and I believe Cody Thorson delivered that to me however I will never sit and let someone scream and tell me I consented to something I did not consent to. It's not about the fee it's about the integrity of your staff!"

"I absolutely love Dr Tanita. He delivered my 4th baby, saw me through a devastating miscarriage and then my 5th pregnancy. I was so sad when he was out of town for the delivery! My entire experience here has been absolutely wonderful. He treats me like a family member, he genuinely cares & has always treated me with the utmost respect. Sharon, his nurse is also amazing. She ALWAYS takes my call with my important or random questions. Lisa, the front desk administrator, has also been such a sweetheart. I know they’re medical professionals & this is their “job” but they never made me feel that way. I love them all very much!"

"Dr Peña was great and really nice to me, it was my first time at this office I didn’t feel very welcomed when I came in I was not greeted and I was spoken to very rudely by the woman in front with red hair (star deducted) I feel it was because I am a black girl and she was really surprised how sweet pleasant and well mannered I was. Overly the office is great and really pretty esthetics. I am glad to be meeting with Dr. Peña again. 5 stars if the receptionist was so sour."

"Nice office. Sure, it's 40 min past my appointment time and I'm sitting fully clothed in the exam room waiting for the doctor - but, there's a TV at least. Would consider 3 stars if it was turned on. Update - So when Dr. Pena finally joined the appointment about 45 past the scheduled time, she informs me that while my PCP had faxed over my records, they were missing the imaging needed. So I have a couple of conclusions and/or questions from this... If you require imaging before you could make any recommendation about how to proceed - Why am I here for an in-person visit? If its required by insurance - fine - but why are you only realizing you aren't prepared for the visit well after my appointment time? I'm happy to request records from my PCP, which I did prior to the appointment, but once you receive them - if it's not what you need, why are you letting the appointment proceed? The office staff could have requested the records or called to inform me that I need to. The office staff could have cancelled the appointment if they weren't received in time. I honestly get that doctor's run late chonically and there are many reasons for that, which are not all the fault of the doctor themselves, but being unprepared and not communicating, either with your staff so they can do their job or the patient so they can help, only adds to the problem. 100% unacceptable."
