"I was referred to this place because I made an attempt on my life. My family has been on two tours to Iraq, I suffer from PTSD on a daily basis and had the trauma of taking care of a mother who had Alzheimer’s disease. At first the staff seemed very helpful and wanted to go out of their way to help me. But just like most politicians I’m learning more and more if the staff are asked to to actually roll up their sleeves and get out in the community and get a little dirt on to help their clients, they don’t carry their weight to well. The staff I’ve worked with are discontented if their asked to do anything more than have a government sit down desk job and waste your tax payer money. These people never leave the office to do their job. Giving lip service to their clients is about the extent of their usefulness. Clients of theirs becoming homeless because they won’t do their job. The only reason I continue to come here, is because of my therapist who is a great help to me. Otherwise I think I could probably find far more effective case management services else. My apologies. But These people do not want to earn their paycheck. Again I will only continue to go here because my therapist is very helpful. Again these are basically people who just want an easy government sit down desk job and don’t really want to have to earn their paycheck. This program is a huge waste of tax payer money. Don’t waste our tax money on these people. You’ll probably find much better help in Vegas. This is not a good place for people with health problems who need long term case management. After a year they’ll just dump you and leave you to fend for yourself. Leaving me in the same situation before I attempted suicide. Do yourself a favor and seek help elsewhere it is in my opinion this program should be cut. The only I continue dealing with these people is because they provide me with ongoing therapy and I have a pretty therapist. But that’s really the only good thing I have to say about this place."

"I'm bipolar and was in desperate need of a new psychiatrist. I searched all over Pahrump and it was either the case of they didn't take my insurance, or the workers were rude. Just when I was at my wit's end..in tears walking in the door..I was literally welcomed by the entire staff with such welcoming warmth! Mind you, I came on the perfect day because they were celebrating national mental health month, but I never felt so relieved. It was everything I'd hoped. I was given a full tour, with my bf at my side the entire time, and met each employee, drs included. They are constantly booked up so it took me about a month to get in for my psych evaluation and all that jazz. Worth the wait. Sometimes they get set back on appointments with the actual psychiatrist, but usually the psychologist appointments are on time. The only strange thing... because we are a small town, appointments with the psychiatrist are through live, real time, video chat. All in all, veryyyyy considerate staff and safe place to be."
