"We experience a lack of care for our daughter every time we need to be seen. We had problem transitioning to milk and when my daughter was screaming and turning purple almost passing out to poop, we always get turned away and never get solutions. I created my own solution by removing milk but my daughter is still having problems leading me to think she may have a dairy intolerance. When I was FINALLY was able to get in 3 months later I was told “you are doing everything right and to remove dairy” and sent on my way. Even though I stated I didn’t want any to remove dairy, I’m not a DR. However, I do know that’s not how you solve an intolerance problem or the only solution. When asked for manager info and contact to discuss the lack of care and wanting a recommendation for other drs and specifically a GI, I was ignored and never contacted. If you want to feel cared for and taken care of I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS FACILITY."
"I know a lot of parents within the navy come to Fallon as we did, and need pediatrician recommendations. To be transparent, we experienced a significant lack of consideration and care within banner pediatrics with Dr. Oschner. She can do bare minimum well checks but if your baby/young child is going through anything more, 1. good luck getting in to see her (we never could) 2. If you can somehow get in when your child is sick, she doesn’t test for RSV or covid so you will be instructed to “treat symptoms with Tylenol and Motrin” and send your child back to school/daycare after their fever goes away and unbeknownst to you, continue to spread these horrid viruses around town. This happened to us multiple times and we had to wind up in the ER to get tests done and positive tests confirmed. I was not in any way confident in care here and experienced a night and day difference when we switched to Carson Medical Group (they also have an office in Reno). It’s worth the drive to have your precious babies seen by someone that cares and is knowledgeable. Some people are meant to be pediatricians and some are not."
