Dr. Amanjit Dhatt, Alpine Allergy & Asthma Clinics

"I grew up in the area, and doctor’s offices can be hit or miss here, but this is the worst run office I’ve ever come across. They gave us inaccurate, random allergy test results for our son. They werent careful about where each skin prick test was placed on our son’s back, and they also forgot that they used histamine as a control (which guarenteed they would mistakenly think something is a severe allergen). We got lucky that they just told us our son is allergic to a few things that he’s not allergic to. If it had been the reverse and they had mistakenly told us he’s not allergic to something…things could have gone much worse. And, they still had the complete lack of integrity or pride in their role as healthcare professionals that they charged us in full for the test even after they acknowledged their error and we had to repeat the entire process with another doctor, who of course we also had to pay in full. This wasnt the only major issue we had with them, but that’s the most important thing to be aware of. You can’t trust their test results, and they seem to be fine profiting from it anyways."

"Dr. Dhatt is the BEST doctor we have ever seen. Our little one has an illness that requires us to see a team of doctors/specialists often. Dr. Dhatt spends time with each patient. She asks questions, allows you to ask a lot of questions if need be. She is very thorough and doesn’t seem like she is just in a hurry. She also doesn’t come across like a doctor who just makes a quick assumption/diagnosis and sends you out the door. She really listens and takes time to show she cares. Very thorough, very knowledgeable, and we trust her with our care. Definitely recommend!"

"Horrible! Was declined services for my son for having his medical alert service dog with him who suffers from many internal medical issues. The staff suggested I put my sons dog in the car. I said in my car? In the heat? I would be put in jail for animal abuse if I did that I said. They mentioned I put her else where or drop her off somewhere. They said they talked with Dr. Dhatt but she will not allow my sons dog to be here. This back and forth arguing continued for 5-7 minutes. Yet, my son would not be seen unless I get rid of his service dog who goes with him every where. I even mentioned that to them. But that doesn't matter. So I left in such confusement and being very upset for wasting my time and effort to try and figure out what my son might be allergic to yet, I am being denied medical services for my son because of his service dog. I know my rights for service animals and you cannot deny the person and their service animal and that's exactly what Dr. Dhatt and her staff did to my young son today by refusing to see him unless I got rid of my sons dog. But unfortunately I could not and would not go anywhere without my sons dog as she is a tremendous blessing to him and helps him in very difficult times. The only places a service animal is not allowed are sterile environments and a allergy clinic is not one of those. I even called the ADA reporting this office on discriminating individuals with disabilities who need service animals. Because if you deny the service of my young sons service animal,you will deny someone who is blind who has a blind seeing eye dog as well. if your office wants to know your rights on service animals please do contact the ADA directly and they will be more than happy to inform you of the rights of service animals.
